1 hour later Bill and Fleur were officially husband and wife. They truly did belong together.
"Okay everybody, pick up your own hay bale and take it outside. This is our area for the after party," said a voice somewhere up to the front of the tent.
Everyone begun shuffling, some pulling out their wands to use the levitation spell. Because Ava doesn't turn 17 until the 5th of August, she had to move her's without magic.
"I don't believe a proper lady should move a hay bale in a dress," said a familiar voice behind Ava.
Ava turned around saw Charlie lean over and pick up her hay bale.
She smiled at him as he walked outside with her hay bale in his arms.
Once everyone was done moving their bales, they conjured up the tables and chairs and cleared the dance floor for the newlyweds. They both looked extraordinarily happy to be with each other.
They danced the whole way through the song, never taking their eyes off of each other.
When the song was over, more people joined them for the next one. Couple, family members, and friends all went out there, dancing with one another.
Charlie walked up to Ava, held out his hand and said, "I think I'd like that dance now."
Ava stood up and took his hand. She didn't even look back at her parents to see their reaction.
He pulled her to the middle of the dance floor. He turned around when he got to the center and put his left hand on her waist but still held her other hand. She put her hand on his shoulder as they swayed back and forth to the beat of the music, Charlie spinning her every once in awhile.
They didn't really talk for at all until Ava spoke up, breaking the tension, "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Charlie chuckled.
"For getting you in trouble. I didn't realize it was going to be that big of a deal."
"Don't worry about. Mum's only overreacting because she doesn't know the whole story."
"I saw you talking to your dad in the den," Ava said, leaving out the part about hearing what he said to Arthur.
"Yeah, it wasn't that big of a deal. I just cleared up everything."
"Charlie, I really don't think you cleared it up that good."
"Why's that?"
"Molly told my mum. And then my mum told dad. He's absolutely furious. So if I were you I'd stay away for a while."
Charlie spun her, bringing her back closer than before. "It's not like I have much choice for running," He said. They both laughed at this.
After that they kept the conversation lighter than that subject. Ava swore they danced for hours and hours. Or at least it felt like hours, she claimed.
One lady walked up to Ava and Charlie and said, "You two are adorable."
Ava's face reddened. She went to speak up to tell her that they were only best friends, but she had already walked away.
When she turned her head back to Charlie, her shook his head and said, "Don't waste your breath."
They continued to sway of the dance floor when something blue and glowing became flying their way, and fast. Everybody screamed as it landed. Landing right where Ava and Charlie had been dancing before. But they moved out just as it landed for, Charlie backed up and took Ava with him since he still had ahold of her hand from their dancing position. This caused Ava to bump right into Charlie.
