ch. 7

"hi Cole." Amberlyn said softly as she hugged him back gently, he pulled away slowly as his eyes turned toward me.

the eye contact was weird, he stared at me for a second before arching an eyebrow.

"i was expecting Blake honestly." he said slowly looking disappointed to see me sitting on her couch.

"oh uh, yeah this is Harry." she said with a soft smile, i decided to be nice as i stood up and walked towards Cole shaking his hand.

Gripping his hand firmly, i noticed i had a slight advantage in height by only about an inch.

still counts.

"Join us for a movie?" Amberlyn asked clearing the air as he nodded walking to the spot i was previously sitting, plopping in it as Amberlyn had no other choice but to sit there beside him or go out of her way to sit on the other couch with me.

I rolled my eyes at his childishness throwing myself down onto the other couch making myself comfortable.

Amberlyn sat beside Cole much to my displeasure as he threw an arm around her as it lay on the back of the sofa.

If you are going to put your arm around her at least do it right you pansy.

"Harry its your turn to pick the movie." she said as she caught my stare, i nodded as she passed me the remote.

i scrolled through movies as i found Big Hero 6, clicking it was either going to be a great decision or an awful one that could risk total embarrassment.

fuck it.

i clicked the movie as i heard Amberlyn gasp, and an 'oh for the love of god' escape Coles mouth.

"I. Love. This. Movie." she said with pauses in between each word, i looked at her to find her already looking at me as she smiled widely.

"me too!" i said with a smirk as i saw Cole narrow his eyes at me, i ignored him and looked back at the screen.

"Cole never wants to watch this with me."

"its cause i'm a man." he retorted i snorted immediately as Amberlyn laughed in his face.

"Yeah, okay." she said as he huffed poking her side making her laugh.

god dammit.

We ended the movie and all i could hear were the music from the credits on the screen as i felt myself falling asleep on the couch.

"so where did this guy come from?" i heard Coles voice ask out quietly, i let my ears perk up almost immediately as i stayed in my position pretending to be asleep.

"we met a few days ago." she said softly not wanting to wake me.

"He your boyfriend or something?" he asked.

"uhm, no Cole." she paused. "we literally just met."

"well, thats good." he said with a sigh, she scoffed.

"whats that suppose to mean?"

"it means i'm glad you aren't dating."
