Soulmate AU. For HailleEpperson. Timer counting down til you meet on your wrist.

(Y/N) P.O.V.

          Looking down at my arm I see that my Soulmate and I will be reunited soon. You see everyone has a Soulmate. And they have been with you in every life. But when you die you have to find them all over again. But with luck you get a timer that counts down to when you meet again.

    When you meet your Soulmate again you are given all the memories you shared before. From what my friends and family have said it's an amazing experience.

      The only thing that really sucks is today is my first day at DWMA. And my timer says 1 hour 13 minutes. So that means it could be anyone. I have to get ready at a normal pace and let fate do it's thing. Ugh... this is so hard. I go through the motions of a shower brushing my hair and teeth. I put on light makeup and I am done. Now I have to eat and go find my Soulmate. I don't dare look at my timer. I am already nervous. As I walk into my kitchen I see my Miester has a smirk on her face I ignore her and continue my day as I normally would. Sallona already met her Soulmate last year. In fact I live with them. It has been hell with how lovey dovey they are. And I can't wait until I have my Soulmate and can rub it in her face.

       Lost in my thoughts I end up dropping my now empty glass on the floor. Luckily it doesn't shatter. I hear two giggles from behind me. I turn after putting my cup in the sink to see Granger. Great. Now I have to deal with the Soulmate team. "Looks like someone is nervous huh, baby?" I glare at Granger. It then turns to my Miester when she says, "Oh most definitely." They both are smirking and I feel I stayed long enough. I grab my keys and bag on the way out the door. Flipping off the two Soulmates in the kitchen. I can hear them cackle all the way to the sidewalk.

      I ignore them and walk to the school. I am eager but nervous about meeting my Soulmate. There has been times when they have denied the connection. I don't want that to happen to me. When I get to the staircase I sigh.

10 minutes later at the top.........

      I made it. Finally. My legs feel like jelly and I am all sweaty. I had collapsed when I got here just laying here. I feel a tap on my shoulder and look up to see a girl with pigtails and green eyes. She hands me a water and towel. I smile accepting both and thanking her. "My name is Maka and I and my partner/soulmate Soul will show you around." I frown and look at my timer it comes down to two minutes. She sees it too and gets excited, "Oh your going to meet your Soulmate how exciting."

   I get up dust myself off and we go to walk in. Me and her talking about my Soulmate while hers just follows quietly behind. Before we can do anything I hear yelling coming from way up in the air. "HEY YOU NEW KID!" I look up to see electric blue hair. And it seems so familiar. "I CHALLENGE YOU TO A FIGHT!" I am bout to ask him why when he jumps down and everything stops. My world is standing still and it's only us. He seems to stop too.

    As we stand there thousands of memories are rushing through my mind. From happy to sad. A few angry. But love is the greatest. When we finally come back to our senses I am speechless. He comes up to me cupping my cheek. "Winner gets to take the other on a date. It took you long enough. I have been waiting on that spike for forever." I smile at his stupidity. He leans in kissing me and it is like every kiss throughout time we have shared. Timeless.
