Gentouka landed far away from Shiranui Mountain and he was actually wandering around a forest he couldn't recognize; because demons from Shiranui Mountain never left their mountain, they barely known others places than their own home. He looks a bit confused for what happened recently, not because those exorcist attacked the mansion but because (y/n) actually casted a spell. Where did she learn a magic like that? Gentouka wondered as he keeps walking around that forest.
His wounds weren't severe but his energy wasn't enough for him to return to Shiranui Mountain and try to save her, if he was still on time to. Still wandering around that forest he tried to search for a powerful Youkai that could help him but it was useless in the end; because of the smell he have on him, all the Youkai escape away from him, scared that he could do something to them.
He tried to give up several times and just forget about her but what Gentouka felt for her was stronger than his wish to escape and hide only to evade the punishment he will receive from his master if he finds out that he lose the girl.
Even if she may be dead by now, Gentouka didn't cared and still keep searching for someone to help him return to Shiranui Mountain and save her, even if he only can find her dead body; but those person looks like exorcist so it was a possibility that they didn't killed her and instead only take her as a prisoner.
—Hime... —Gentouka forced himself to keep advancing but because of the amount of blood that he loses in his way, he ended up falling unconscious close to a river and because of the little power he had left, his body shrink until he takes the appearance of a small fox with two tails and with a blue mark over his forehead.

Two high school students that casually were passing close to the river find the small little fox and immediately take interest in this small creature. One of them, a girl, approached to the animal to take him between her hands before returning with his class mate and show it to him.
—Look Tanuma, don't you think this creature is intriguing? —she commented a bit confused— is the first time that I see a small fox like this one and what's more strange is that he has two tails and strange blue marks over his forehead— she added.
—Do you think he could be a Youkai? —Tanuma asked approaching more closely to that fox and cover it with a kerchief because he noticed that it was wounded and part of his skin were covered with blood— I think it will be better if we take him with Natsume. If this fox is really a Youkai, he will know what to do— Taki nodded at that suggestion and they headed as fast as he could to the house where the Fujiwara lives and when they arrived and knocked the door, a woman received them.
—O, what a surprise— she said happily letting them enter in the house—you are here to see Takashi-kun, right? — They nodded at her words, so she approached to the stairs and shouted —Takashi-kun, you're friends are here— she said before returning to the kitchen.
