Poppy's prove

"Ok, then you preheat the oven at 450 degrees." Marinette instructed. After hearing about last night's...accident, Marinette decided that it was officially her job to teach me the essentials of baking. I don't blame her. I looked over to see Ash rushing down the stairs.

"Mornin' Pops! See ya later!" She said quickly as she made her way toward the bakery's front door.

"And where exactly are you going?" I asked.

"Nowhere special. Just thought it'd be cool to explore the city of love since, ya know, we live here. Besides, it'd be a shame if I couldn't at least find my way around here just a little bit." She said with a smile.

"Well, why don't you stick around just a little bit longer? Mari's gonna teach me how to make the best macaroons in all of Paris!" I said cheerfully. Ash gave me a sly grin.

"I think I've seen enough of your cooking skills for a while." Ash said teasingly. Marinette giggled. I sighed and gave her a sarcastic laugh. She snickered and left.

"Is this normal for you guys?" Marinette asked, giggling.

"Oh, this is nothing. You should see what we were like when we were little. 2 words: Complete Chaos." I said dramatically. We both laughed and continued baking.

Later...

"Wow...these turned out better than I thought they would." I said, chewing. The macaroons that Marinette had helped me make were amazingly sweet and well flavored. I was proud of myself and surprised at the same time.

"Just wait till Ash gets a load of this!" I thought happily. This ought to teach her for underestimating my baking skills! I smiled at Marinette and thanked her for teaching me the ways of baking.

"By the way, where is Ash?" Asked Marinette. That caught me off guard. I had forgotten that Ash was no longer upstairs in Marinette's room, but out exploring Paris. I was suddenly worried. What if she didn't know how to get back to the bakery? What if she was lost? I told Marinette about my worries and she suggested that we go search for her. I agreed and soon we were out the door, unsure where to search first.

Ash's prove

"Do you even know where your going, Luv?" Skyy asked, a little concerned. He was tucked away in my upper  right-hand pocket.

"Nope. Its called exploring, Skyy. The whole point is to not know where your going." I said. We had just left the bakery and were now heading down the street to a nice looking park. As we entered the entrance to it, I could see a fountain. I walked up to it and fished a quarter out of my back pocket.

"Aren't you a little old to believe in wishes?" Skyy asked. I looked at him and sighed.

"Aren't I a little old to believe in little mythical monsters?" I said, grinning. He stuck his tounge out at me and turned his back to me as he soon fell asleep. I turned back to the fountain and took a deep breath in.

"I wish...something would happen. Something that changes everything...besides all the superhero stuff. Something...normal. Something I wouldn't need to hide." I tossed the coin into the fountain. I watched as it sunk into the bottom, just like all the other coins that had been used to make wishes. Just then I felt a strong force hit me in the head and before I knew it I had fallen forward into the fountain. I sat there for a while, a little dazed. Then I was hit with a feeling of coldness. I sat shivering, and looked to my side to see what had hit me. It was a football. I reached for it only to find that there was a splitting pain in the back of my head. As I held the football in my hands, I realized how blurry my fission had become.

"Oh, great." I thought. Now what? Not only could I not see, but my head was aching so bad I couldn't move much. I peeked into my pocket to see Skyy still sleeping.

"Hey, are you ok?" I heard a concerned voice say. I looked up to see a blur of red.

"I see you found my football. I must have thrown it pretty hard for you to have been knocked back by it. Nice catch, by the way." It said. I looked up at the blur and sighed.

"Thanks, but I didn't exactly ca..." That was all I could get out before everything went black.
