Poppy's prove

"Alright class, lets get started." Said Ms. Bustier. The rest of the day was filled with laughs and new faces. There was this one girl, Rose, who was like another me. And her best friend, Julica, was like her complete opposite. They kind of reminded me of Ash and me. Complete opposites, stuck together like glue. I smiled my award-winning smile just thinking about it.

"So, you guy's wanna join us for lunch?" Alya asked as we walked out of the classroom.

"Sure, just as long Poppy agrees to share whatever she's got in her lunch bag!" Ash said laughing. I rolled my eyes as Alya and Marinette giggled. We went to our lockers, grabbed our lunches, and met out in the courtyard. We sat down and talked, all while laughing at each other. Ash constantly tried sneaking a bite of the macaroons and other sweets that I had baked and brought to school.

"Ah, come on Pops! Just one I swear!" Ash pleaded, giving me her best puppy eyes. I closed my eyes and turned me head the other way, sticking my nose up in the air.

"This is what you get for judging my cooking skills. Maybe next time you wont be so quick to judge." I said, giggling.

"Here Ash, you can have one of  mine." Marinette offered. Ash looked at her and smiled.

"Thanks Marinette! At least somebody here doesn't hold a grudge. Don't worry, Alya. You don't count." Ash said. Alya shrugged. I rolled my eyes as Ash popped Marinette's macaroon in her mouth, leaned back against the courtyard wall, and started tossing Kim's football in the air. After being knocked unconscious, Ash could only remember a little bit of what happened. When the doctor left, Ash had to wear this weird bandage around her head. It was hilarious! The bandage covered her left eye so she looked like a pirate for about a week. Ash even drew a little cartoon eyepatch over the part that covered her eye. So for a week Ash just walked around the bakery yelling "ARRR!" at any unsuspecting costumer that walked in. For the remainder of the lunch period we talked about things like school, friends, and Ladybug. Well, Alya did most of the Ladybug talking.

"Is she really a superhero?" Ash asked with deep interest.

"I thought superheroes only existed in comic books." Alya gasped, a little offended. She told us about her Lady Blog and told us that we should check it out. Ash and I said that we would. Just then I heard the bell, signaling us that it was time to get back to class. We packed up our lunches, and stood up. But while walking back to class, I suddenly felt my foot get caught onto something. Before I knew it, I was sprawled on the floor.

"Oh come on, not on my first day!" I thought, embarrassed. I looked around to see several people had stopped in there placed and were now staring at me. Just then I heard a loud cackle from behind me. I sat up, rubbed my head, and turned round to see a girl wearing a thin yellow long sleeved leather jacket, a white shirt with black stripes at the bottom near her waist, and white jeans. She had hair as blonde as honey, frosty blue eyes, and a pair of shades sitting atop her head. She also had a lot of makeup on. A little too much in my opinion.

"Wait, I've seen that girl before. She has the same classroom as me, doesn't she?" I thought. What was her name again? I looked at her once more.

"Probably something snobby sounding." I thought. Just then the girl pointed at me. I looked up to see a cruel looking smirk plastered across her face.

"Well, what do we have here? Yet another klutzy loser? Sorry, but that job's already taken! Isn't that right, Marinette?" She said, her smirk growing more cruel. Suddenly, I could feel my face tingling. Soon that tingling turned into a burning sensation. I looked around to see that people had gathered around and were now whispering. Just then I felt the burning sensation getting worse. I could feel tears backing up in my eyes. I started to feel really worthless. I wanted to curl up into a ball and disappear. But then, just as I was about to let my tears flow, I felt a warm hand grasp my shoulder. I looked up to see Marinette, a kind smile on her face.

"Here." She said. She reached out her arm and offered her hand. Her expression was patient and friendly. I hesitated, then took her hand. She pulled me up from the ground and smiled.

"Thanks Marinette. I owe you one." I said.

"No problem. Besides, your not the only one her who's a klutz." She said cheerfully. We both laughed and smiled at each other. I looked at the girl who had pointed at me. She had an annoyed expression on her face. She rolled her eyes and snorted impatiently.

"Just like Marinette to want to save the day. It's sad, really." The girl said, sighing. Marinette looked at her, disgusted.

"The only sad thing around here is the fact that you think it's ok to just pick on a new kid. Honestly, Chloé, if you ask me that's pretty pathetic. Especially for you." Marinette said, a little annoyed. A couple people in the crowd that suurrounded us snickered. Chloé looked at Marinette, angry.

"Well, I wasn't asking you. Whatever. I'm going to class." She said, storming off as a orange haired girl quickly followed. I thanked Marinette for standing up for me, and soon went to class. I walked to my seat, sat down, and waited. Ash came rushing into the classroom and sat down next to me.

"Hey, what the heck happened? I was all the way back in the crowd and I couldn't see a thing!" She said, exausted. I explained what had happened; how I had tripped onto the courtyard pavement, how Chloé had made fun of me in front of everybody and how it felt, how Marintte helped me up from the floor and defended me, and how she had gotten rid of Chloé .

"Ok, ok, cool, yeah, but, um...who's Chloé?" Ash asked, obviously lost. I sighed and pointed to the front of the classroom, at the desk where Chloé sat.

"The blondie? Marinette dissed her? Whoa. Mariette sure is a good friend!" Ash exclaimed, smiling proudly. I smiled, agreeing fondly. Marinette was many things. Brave, kind, sincere, patient, klutzy, and tons more.

"A good friend?" I thought, smiling. Oh yeah. Most definetly.
