Attention ➜ Poem

When someone is being witty,

you try to butt in and take all the viewers away.

You make silly faces and try to make them laugh,

but why do you want attention anyways?

Is there something wrong at home,

hence the cause of your immature actions?

Or are you just an attention-seeker,

with no true reason for your intentions?

Are you looking for some love,

instead of unnecessary attention?

If so, just take a second and reminisce.

There's someone who loves you,

even though you may not find that person yet.

That person will care for you

and treat you with tenderness like no one has done before.

It will happen,

I bet.

So in the meantime,

try to make some friends.

Instead of looking for attention,

try interacting with others,

try being nice,

you don't want that unneeded tension.
