Chapter 10: She's Fighting

Dani's POV:

I woke up and the sterile smell of the room told me I was in the hospital. Great. I should've told Jackson as soon as he asked me out.

I was currently laying in my hospital bed with my eyes closed because I wanted to sleep when something shuffled a few feet to my left.

I tensed and my senses sharpened as soon as I realized I wasn't alone. I felt a portion of the bed near my feet dip and knew someone was sitting on my bed.

I wiggles my eyelids open and looked around. As soon as my eyes opened, I recoiled from the bright lights. Tae shifted on the bed to face me as he placed his hand reassuringly on my leg. Everyone else came closer and put their hands on the bed.

I opened my eyes again and noticed there were 8 of us total.

"Where's Jackson?"

Suga put his hand on my shoulder, "He went to the car because he forgot his phone. He should be back by now though..."

I sat up and pushed their hands away as they moved to steady me, "I'm fine. I feel stiff anyways so I'll go try and find him while I stretch."

They moved back so I could get up and walked out.

I walked aimlessly around the floor I was on as I worked my tight legs. I turned a corner and saw Jackson. I smiled but before I could call his name...he turned and I saw a nurse...kissing him roughly.

Glaring heavily I decided to get my revenge right here. Right now.

"Jackson Oppa! Our baby just woke up! Come see him."

The nurse pulled away and glared heavily as she slapped him hard before rushing off. He looked at me flustered and I walked back to my room with my head high.

I climbed back into my bed and glared at the door, waiting.

"Did you see him?" Namjoon Oppa asked.

"Oooh...I saw him alright."

Jackson came bursting in and tried to grab my hand. I pulled it away and punched him square in the nose. He recoiled and held his face.

"Dani I-"

"Let me stop you right there. Don't ever think you are capable of playing games with me. Because BELIEVE ME, you are far from it. Life is short, I know that better than anyone in this room. I also know that you are a two timing, cheating, byuntae who needs to grow up and realize that his actions have an effect on not only him, but the people around him as well."

"Baby I'm so-"

"Call me baby one more time and I'll rip off you're family jewels and shove them up your nose. Don't worry, their small enough to fit!!"

I was livid as everyone stared at me in shock. My small body was shaking with rage while BTS remained frozen. Jackson didn't move as I held him trapped in my deadly glare.

"Get out." Those two words, as soon as they left my lips, seemed to release him from my suffocating grip.

BTS stared at me as I closed my eyes and settled back into my bed, completely at ease. Someone put their hand on my shoulder and I rolled onto my stomach holding my pillow,

"I'm already over it."

"How long had you guys been dating?" a deep voice asked, defiantly Tae Oppa.

"Only about a week or so. We weren't serious but we were exclusive. Or so I thought."

Everyone hugged me and I smiled into my pillow with my eyes still shut.

They didn't know how much it hurt. I don't want them to know how much it hurts.

The cancer has moved up to the point where I have a 2% survival rate. All of my activities made me over exert myself and it spread faster. The medicine I was on wasn't helping it.

That's why my breathing has been such an issue. It moved up into my throat and down to my lungs. Instead of having the three weeks they predicted as my maximum time left, I know have a predicted two days.

No one knows yet. I don't want them too. I'm not telling them but I need to start planning for when I am gone.

I can't tell them because I have never been good with saying goodbye. So I won't say goodbye. I'll say...I love you.

Omo I'm crying again. Aniyoooooooo. I'm not a crier but if this ever happened. Ughhhggghhhh. So sad.
