Don't let hate and anger be your strength.

I do not own Mangled, the song belongs to Nathan Sharp. If you're looking to check him out, look him up on YouTube by the user name Natewantstobattle.

Let's get this show on the road!

Springtrap didn't show up for the rest of the night, which was actually a relief. The fox (Which Danny and Wes called Foxy) Came out a couple of times, as well as the little boy, ("Balloon boy. He was annoying, but Johny liked him," Danny told them offhandedly.) but other than that it was quiet for the rest of the night. Six o'clock hit, and they all went to their respective homes.

Phantom was in Danny's room reading when he heard Danny playing his guitar downstairs. He put the book down and went to listen, stopping at the top of the staircase when he heard Danny singing.

We're back,
Revamped
The madness never ends~
We're not,
Alone,
This time we brought some friends~
No doors,
No hope,
But you keep coming back~
Well if this is what you want,
Then you can be just like us~
...
Yeah, you'll be just like us~

Phantom crept closer, turning invisible so Danny wouldn't see him. Danny picked up the tempo and a look of self loathing appeared on his face, his eyes cloudy again as he seemed to mindlessly play.

It's what we're made to do,~
You act like we're to blame!~
Wear a mask to hide yourself,
When really it makes us the same!~
A couple hours but it's feeling like days~
Now you're runnin outta power,
Leave you mangled and winding away~

He ended the song and Phantom dropped the invisibility. Danny didn't act surprised or embarrassed when he did, he just set the guitar aside and patted the spot next to him. Phantom went over and sat down, and Danny leaned on him, his head resting on the ghost's shoulder.

"It comes and goes, but I still remember some things, from that time."

Phantom hummed, putting an arm around the raven's shoulder, "What do you remember?"

Danny shrugged, "Thanks to Vortex, I was able to remember what my life as an animatronic was like. The screams, the blood. It all made me sick but at the same time I felt such anger and hatred I couldn't give a shit who got in the way. I just knew it had to be done, we had to stop the Purple Man."

"Do you remember anything else?" Phantom asked, rubbing his hand up and down Danny's arm.

Danny thought for a moment, "I remember my suit, he was called Golden Freddy...he used to be my favorite," A bittersweet smile crossed Danny's face, "Kinda ironic that I'd be put into my most favorite animatronic, huh? They had taken out his endoskeleten, so he wasn't able to move physically, but I was strong enough, angry enough to get by. I became the most unique outta all of us."

"I'm sorry Danny," Phantom said, his grip tightening on the raven's arms somewhat. Danny smiled sadly.

"There was nothing you could've done Phantom, we all regret what we did back then, even if three of us can't remember now," He snuggled closer, "Besides, I wouldn't have met you if all that stuff didn't happen, y'know?"

"Do you still hold on to that anger?"

Danny shrugged again, "Not as much as I use to. It's still there, just...muted." He gazed down at the floor and bit his lip, "To be honest, I'm kinda worried that I'll get weak if I don't hold on to it, my powers always got stronger when I was angry, if I let it go completely..."
