Cosette sat whimpering in the corner of the kitchen shaking profusely with hunger .her mother had once again refused to give her food and she was beginning to feel as if her stomach was digesting itself. She looked up at the kitchen table where a stack of blank paper lay and a ludicrous idea struck her. no cosette that is foolish . she thought to herself but the sound of her growling stomach outweighed any logical thinking she may have had. With the searing sensation of acid burning in her stomach the 4 year old pulled herself up onto the kitchen stool.she hesitated for a while before the feeling of acid burning its way through her stomach forced her to reach for a paper and pen.she began to draw a horrible picture of what she assumed bacon and eggs looked like. Then when she was sure her mom wasn't around she traced over the badly drawn eggs with a kitchen knife and stuffed the picture into her mouth .the taste of freshly made paper was revolting but the feeling of having something other than acid and water in her stomach was so good that she cut out the rest of her breakfast and proceeded to draw herself lunch and dinner.
