MOAN
The girl turns around and sees me. Her face is blank and pale.
"WHO AND WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU IN HERE!" She yells. I laugh.
"Do you know people want to sleep peacefully right?" I say.
"Does it look like I care?" I shake my head. "You didn't answer my question..." I see her slowly pick up something to try and hit me with. I smile to myself. She then swings at me and the thing goes right through. "What?" She looks astonished. I instantly chuckle.
"Really?" I say before laughing again. She looks bothered, so I stop.
"What are you?"
"I'm a ghost, Pretty girl."
"Get out." She says. I inch closer to her and slide a piece of hair, which is in her face, behing her ear. She e slaps my hand out of the way. I have never wanted to laugh this much since I scared someone out of their living skin! "Why are you here?" She asks.
"Because I heard a loud noise and I wanted to make sure whoever in this house was okay." She then lifts her head up and we see eye to eye for a while until she furrows her eyebrows and looks away.
"I thought ghosts didn't have any heart."
"I guess when we go, we're still kept a little peace of our--"
"Sappy shit, sappy shit." She says. Talking to her felt like me being my old self again. It felt great. "Well anyways, it was nice meeting you, weirdo. I'm Cory by the way." She walks over to her bed and sits on it.
"I'm Moan." We exchange smiles before I head out.
