Fourteen

~ Melissa's POV ~

    I woke up my phone ringing. Rubbing the sleep out my eyes, I looks at the bright screen and read the caller ID: Harry Styles.

Immediately, I begin to panic. Is he mad? I gulp and answer the phone. Before a word could leave my mouth, a worried voice blasts from my phone.

"Melissa? Where are you? You had me all worried!"

"I went home," I say dully.

There is silence.

"Ummm....." I say breaking the silence. 

"Was it about what I say earlier?"

Not a word escapes my mouth. He takes my silence as a yes and responds, "I'll be there in 5."

Sure enough, he did come. 

My shoulders were slouched as I opened the door. Harry on the other hand pulled me into a tight hug. Sighing, I rest my head on the crock of his neck, taking in his minty scent.

We just stood their for a minute until he pulled me to the couch. Looking me in the eye, he interlocks my fingers with his. Slowly he brought my hands to his soft lips. Gently pecking it. He could be so dramatic at times. But this time it was different.

Suddenly I feel something beat. Fast. Looking down, I see he had my hand clutched to his chest. Why is his heart beating so fast? No. Could it be? Is he nervous around me?

"Your not the only one who is nervous. Why do you think my heart is beating so fast?"

"I dunno. You ran from your car to my house?"

He chuckles and shakes his head. "Every time I touch you, something inside of me ignites. Its like a puzzle piece fitting perfectly into my heart. And the pounding is a sign to show you I like you too. Actually more than that."

I shake my head. Finally, I take a deep breathe and finally say, "Me too. I feel the same as you. I'm scared. Scared of getting hurt. But that's a chance I'm willing to take,"

He wears the biggest smile. Leaning into him, I pull him into a passionate kiss.

I love the feeling of his lips on mine.

I love the feeling of his hands on my waist.

I love the feel of his hair when I run my hands through it.

I love him.
