I never dreaded a day as much as today. My mother was rummaging through my huge closet to find 'the perfect outfit' for tonight. We would be going to a bussiness party with my father since all other bussiness men would be there. They were also bringing their families. My mother saw it as a chance to meet my future husband. "Maybe we should just go buy a new dress...," She said with a sigh.
"Please, I can go shopping without you," I complained, "It's just a business party."
"But this is the best place to find someone for you to marry," She chimed.
Here we go again with the marriage thing. I'm only twenty-one, why do I need to get married? My mother has been wanting me to marry into a rich family since I was born. Since I was the only girl, I couldn't mess up. My father is the CEO of his company. I never knew what his company did but, I honestly didn't want to know. We were a very famous and rich family and my father wanted to have a son so he could take over the business. I sometimes feel like my father hates me because I'm a girl.
Suddenly my mom jumped up in excitement. "I've got the perfect outfit!" She exclaimed, "It should be somewhere in my closet." She quickly left my room and I followed after her. She went into her closet and pulled out a white blouse and a green pencil skirt. It wasn't a dark green but more on the teal side. It was very pretty.
"Do you think I'll look good in that?" I asked.
My mother laughed. "Of course you will! You're my daughter after all," She assured, "Now go get dressed. We only have an hour until the party."

We arrived at the party fashionably late. When we stepped into the building, my mother and father were swept away somewhere. I sighed. I knew this would happen. I would be left alone at a party I didn't want to go to and awkwardly spend the night by myself. Since I didn't want to be bored, I decided to hang out by the bar and get a few drinks. As I was sitting alone, the bar tender came and passed me a drink. I looked up at him, confused.
"This is from the gentleman over there," He said before he left to serve the other guests.
I looked over to where the bar tender pointed and met eyes with an extremely handsome guy. He smiled at me and I looked down at the drink he bought me. Was he trying to flirt? With me? Only one way to find out. I stood up with the drink in my hand and walked to his spot. I then sat down next to him. "Why did you buy me a drink?" I asked before taking a sip. I was surprised at how strong the drink was.
"You looked stressed out over there, so I thought you might have needed a drink," He said with the same charming smile on his face.
"You must have read my mind," I replied, "So, who are you?"
He ordered himself the same drink I had and drank it all in one gulp. "I'm Wonho, I was actually forced to come to this party because of my father," He said, "And what about you?"
"My name's Gomi. I guess we have something in common." I smiled at Wonho and drank the rest of my drink.
"And what's that?"
"The fact that we don't want to be here." Wonho laughed and so did I. "But I do enjoy your company."
We stayed at the bar for most of the party and got to know each other. We ordered quite a few drinks too. We talked about our families and other things. Wonho was a very amazing guy. I just met him but, I felt like we would be great friends. After an hour of talking and drinking, I was drunk. I stumbled out of my chair but, before I could fall to the ground, Wonho caught me.
"Maybe I should take you home," He said leading me to the exit.
"But I want to party!" I shouted in drunk slurrs. I tried to go back inside and dance but, Wonho continued to drag me out.
"Its a bad idea to be drunk like this at a business party. Let's just get you home safely."
I stopped trying to go back inside and let Wonho lead me into his car. As he was driving, I started to sober up a little. I was still a bit loopy though. "Didn't you drink a lot too?" I asked with a smile on my face.
"I can handle my drinks. But it seems that you can't," Wonho teased, "Now, I can't take you home unless you tell me the way."
"I kind of don't want to go home..." Maybe it was my drunkness taking over but, I really didn't want to go back to my annoying family just yet. I still wanted to have some fun. Wonho frowned and pulled the car over.
"If you don't want to go home, then where will you go?" He was clearly worried.
"How about I go to your place?"
"No way! You can't just go home with someone you just met," Wonho scolded.
I sighed and reached my hand to open the door. "Well, I guess I'll just wander around the city all night..."
Before I could open the door, Wonho grabbed my hand and stopped me. I looked back at him in surprise. "Okay fine, you can come to my house."
I smiled widely and Wonho started to drive again.

It wasn't much later when the car pulled in front of a large house. Wonho got out of the car and came around to open the door for me. Held out his hand for me to take. I took his hand and he lead me to his front door.
"Welcome to my home," Wonho said as he opened the door.
"We should drink some soju!" I said excitedly.
Wonho shook his head. "No more alcohol for you," He said as we both spotted a bottle of Soju in the kitchen. We both looked at each other for a second.
"Not if I get it first!" I shouted as I ran for the kitchen. Wonho ran after me and we got to the bottle at the same time, but he grabbed it first. He held it over his head so I couldn't reach it.
"Come on," I begged, "Just one sip."
Wonho looked down at me and smiled. "You can drink some, if you can get the bottle from me," Wonho teased.
At first, I tried to jump up and grab the bottle but, I was too short. I had to think of another way. Suddenly, an idea came to me. I grabbed his face and pulled him into a kiss. His arms fell down to his sides in shock. I smirked into the kiss. This was my chance to get the bottle. I pulled away from him and took the bottle out of his hand. "I win! I bet you didn't expect that," I celebrated, "Now let's get another drin-"
I was interrupted by Wonho slammed me against the wall. I looked up at him in surprise. He smirked and pulled me into another kiss. I was surprised at first but, I soon kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him closer.
What an amazing day it's been. I was actually glad that my parents forced me to go to that party.
