I get up extra early this morning: the first day of school. To do my hair and makeup, I want to make sure I look extra hot going to school this morning because of the absolute horrible summer I had.

I put on makeup that makes my green eyes stand out, and clothes that make my tan skin pop! I'm wearing a white short sleeve shirt with light wash jeans. I curl my dark brown hair loosely, making it look like I put no effort in it. Even though I spent an hour doing it.

I look in the mirror and am satisfied. I go to the kitchen grab a hard boiled egg from the fridge and make my way to my car. I put my keys in the ignition and turn, but nothing happens.
"Come on, come on." I say while trying to start my car.
"Why today at of all days, you couldn't have done this when I needed to go to work!"
I am so mad that the one time, the one time I wanted to go to school this happens! Like what even!

I eventually give up on my car after desperately trying for the past 20 minutes and walk to school. Luckily I only live 15 minutes from school, walking distance, so the walk isn't too bad.

I arrive at school just as the bells rings. I run through the halls to my first class, AP biology. When all of a sudden I crash into a hard wall. Way to go Hailey, you've been going to this school for practically 4 years and you run into a wall! This day just can't get any better.

When I stand up off the ground I notice someone is looking at me. I look in their direction only to see, well I actually don't know. I've never seen this beautiful man ever. He's about 6'4 has the most gorgeous dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He looks super fit, his abs jumping out of his slightly tight navy blue t-.

"Watch where you're going why don't ya!" He yells, cutting off my thoughts. Well I guess it wasn't a wall. It was a very muscular human.

"Look. You are just at as much fault as I am okay, so I would appreciate it if you didn't put all the blame on me." I snap.

"I don't know what your mom taught you but my mom taught me to look both ways before crossing the road." He says in a snarky tone.

"Well look here we aren't at a road so that doesn't apply, ok. Now move out of my way so I can get to class, ass!" I say with a bit of a not so pleasant smile. Thankfully he moves out of my way, clearly being done with talking to me.

I get into my AP bio class and take a seat in the front; the only seat that was available. And take out paper for notes. A few minutes later the door opens and walks in Steven. His eyes catch mine and wow! Would you look at that the only other available seat is right next to me! Aren't I the luckiest girl alive, not! He takes the seat next to me without saying a word, thank goodness.

After AP bio I have the ever so lovely calculus. I absolutely hate calculus with a burning passion. It makes zero sense in my brain. But I have to take it to get the credit to graduate.

I walk into class and Mr. Beautiful is in it, how great. He makes eye contact with me but shows no emotion. He looks as if he's never seen me before, even though I just bulldozed him an hour ago.

I take a seat next to my friend Ella and set up notes just like I did in bio. I feel someone tap my shoulder and I look over. It's Claire. Why on earth does she want to talk to me? I freaking but Nair in her shampoo, she was loosing hair for weeks! Why does she want to talk to me?

"Listen Hailey, I know what I did was wrong but I hope you can forgive me." She states.

I am so not buying this. She thinks we can be friends after she cheats with my boyfriend! Ha! She's got another thing coming.

"Claire, I know I was like the best thing that's ever happened to you and all, but I will never forgive you. So I'm sorry you are losing the person that ever brought you pure happiness but please don't talk to me again, ok? Ok." I snap.

Man I really am not in a good mood today, I'm snappy, but never this snappy. She looks at me in disgust but I turn around before she can say anything else.

Finally calc is over and I get to go to my favorite class, art! I go in and say "hi" to Mrs. Jonah, she has been my art teacher for the last 3 years and is amazing! She really makes you get in touch with your feelings to produce something...unique.

Mr. Beautiful walks into class taking the easel next to me without even glancing in my direction.

"Alright class, since it is the first day of school I thought we would start off a little different. I have assigned pairs for the year. Now I you're thinking 'what does that mean Mrs. Jonah?' Well that means everything we do this year will be with a partner." She says as she starts listing off the names.

"Hailey Evans and Mason Keys" Mrs. Jonah says.

I start looking around the room not recognizing the name and hoping I make eye contact with someone else doing the same. And I make eye contact with, that's right. Mr. Beautiful.
