Chapter 5

Shannons POV

I woke up at around half two in the morning. Someone was downstairs watching TV, I could hear Jared snoring, and Tomo went home, so I'm guessing it was April.

I threw on a pair of black quarterlengths, couldn't be fucked to find a t shirt.

I snuck downstairs quietly to find April laying on the sofa watching the rest of Fight Club.

'Hey you.' I sat on the other end of the sofa. 'Why are you up?'

'Hey, I couldn't sleep. I hope you don't mind, I had some of your coffee.' She pointed to a mug on the side table.

'Yea, no sure its fine.' I noticed her staring at my bare chest.

Aprils POV

Shannon joined me on the sofa, I felt bad that I nicked some of his coffee. But he said it was okay. He was in increddible shape. His pecks were huge, along with his arms. He was handsome as hell. Shit. He's noticed.

'Haha like What you see?' He laughed and winked at me.

'Well, I'm not complaining.' I gave a cheeky grin and he smiled.

The sexual tension was off the roof. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have feelings for him. When he said he did a year ago, I wanted to tell him I did too. Jared was a great guy. But he wasn't the kinda dude who'd commit to a relationship, easy to tell as he cheated on me.

Me and Shannon stayed in contact afterwards. He was so easy to talk to. I liked him as well, so that adds to it.

About 15 minutes passed of a silence while we both sat there and watched the end of Fight Club.

'I think you should be off to bed.' I broke the tension. 'Youve got that interview in like 9 hours '

He studied my face for a while. 'Oh yea..What about you?'

I was already climbing up, I turned the TV off and headed for the stairs. 'I, am heading back to bed, see if I can get to sleep this time.'

'Night then.' He called after me. I got into my room and snuggled up in bed, I'm not sure if Shannon came up after me or not. Its not that I felt awkward around Shannon, its more there was just tention between us that made me uncomfortable. I soon went out like a light.

Jareds POV

It was about 8am, I woke up a bit late but I didn't take two seconds to get ready. The TV was still on downstairs, and Shannon was fast asleep on the sofa.

'Hey.' I threw a magazine in him, in an attempt to wake him up.

'What I'm up I'm up.' He didn't even open his eyes, he just rubbed his face and snorted.

'The interviews at 12 and we've got a 2 hour drive to do so come on, get ready, I'm gonma call Tomo now.' I got my phone out and called Tomo.

I heard April coming down the stairs, she was already dressed. She was wearing a light pink frilly skirt and a greeny blue long sleeved top that tucked into her skirt. The top hung loosely over her shoulders, showing her bra straps. God she was hot.

Tomo never answered his phone, but sent me a text saying he was already on his way to help set up.

'So, can I come?' April skipped towards me, fishing through the cupboards and pulling out a brownie bar.

'Yea, if you stay behind scenes and chill out. Better bring some fags though who knows how long it will last.' I took a sip from some tea I made.

An hour or so past and we were all set to go.
