Chapter 1

Shannons POV

It was raining, it was cold, and it was dark. I sat in Jareds conservatory with a cup of now cold coffee. Jared was stressing over the new album release, I could hear Jared yelling down his phone, probably at the producer, I think he wanted the album to be released sooner but hey, even stars have money problems.

I leant on the side of the conservatory doors clicking my knuckles, Jared hung up the phone.

'Bastard.' He murmered to himself.

'Care to explain what the hell that was about?' I asked pointing at his phone.

'John says we can't broadcast anything about the album for legal reasons. Yadda Yadda.' Jared brushed his black fringe from his face sighing.

'Well, be a good boy and do as you're told little bro.' I said patronizingly, walking past him messing his perfect hair up.

He said nothing and grabbed a white coat and stormed off. I chuckled, he was so moody lately. Probably because he hadn't heard from April in months. April was his 'everything' he liked to say. But really she was someone for him to call on those lonely nignts.

Me and April have been friends since the early 90's she had shoulder length pale blonde hair, and one stretcher about 16mm, her complexion was perfect and she truely had beauty. Her eyes were a deep blue just like Jared's.

April had complications, depression, anxiety, insomnia. Some scars along the way but she was past that. She started off as one of our biggest fans and soon enough became a very close friend. The last time I'd spoken to her was a few days ago, she had some business I guess. Or the fact Jared broke her heart and didn't give a shit. We text a lot.

I snapped out of my day dream and realised the phone was ringing, it was Tomo.

'Is there a reason why there's a soaked, grumpy blue eyed dude sitting in the studio?'

'Meh, John pissed him off something about ABL, give him some cookies or some shit I really can't be bothered to baby sit him.'

'Okay now he's tweeting, the echelon should help leave it to them.'

'Gotcha.' I hung up the phone. Thinking about April made me want to track her down, find out where she is and get her to come by, she's been there for us since the first album she should be here for the second one, plus last time she had some great ideas for our last tour.

I picked my phone back up, scrolled through my contacts and hit call, it felt like it was ringing forever then she answered.

'Hello?'

So this chapter was short but I kinda just wanted to get the 'introduction' finished
