Ever since that guy tried to murder me I've been freaked out to be alone with strangers. So when the police wanted to ask us questions I made sure I was put with Finn.
"Did either of you boys see this person?"
"I did." I say.
"What did he look like?"
"He was a man with a beard he was skinny and wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans." I say
"Did he make these cuts on you?"
"Yea." I say
"How come you didn't get hurt?" The popo asks Finn
"I didn't go inside the main door to the asylum I climbed in a window." Finn says
"An asylum?"
"Yes, that's where Sophia was taken to. And Jack and Jaeden were put in a room there also." Finn says
"There was a body under the bed. My cellphone is under there too." I say
"A body?"
"Yes... A man." I say
"Where is this Asylum? What room were you in?"
"The Asylum on Maine street. Jae and I were in room 217." I say
"Thank you for telling me this, you are free to go." The woman stands up and walks out and so do Finn and I.
We all go out to eat later that day. We were happy and thankful. Things have been strange for the past few days, but now it's perfect. Everything is okay.
*later*
Everyone stayed at Jaeden's house that night. We watched the news every now and then seeing if it says anything about what happened. And it did.
"Breaking News! Seven children went missing two days ago and showed up at their friends house earlier this morning. These children say that their friend was kidnapped and they went out to find her, they all return safely only with a few minor cuts. You may knows these kids as the loser club in the upcoming IT movie. Anyways we have found two men who are believed responsible. There is also a man named Bill Wilson found dead." A picture showed up on the screen
"Oh my god. That's the guy! The guy that was there in front of the bathroom." Sophia says
"Do you think he was trying to warn you?" Jeremy asks.
"I don't know, maybe. Can we just go to sleep please?" Sophia says
"Sure." I say and turn off the TV. I keep the lights on and nobody argues. Everything is going to be okay...
