I woke up with a jolt after a loud boom of thunder outside. I could feel the deep breathes behind me and everything from last night flashed back to my memory. The mall, getting knocked out, the kiss, getting lost, and then begging Niall to join me in the bed.

I didnt tell him the honest truth as to why I wanted him so bad to be up here though... I was on my phone looking through the news just last night when I couldnt fall asleep and the reason why was because it said that there was a chance of thunderstorms today.

And to be honest... I am afraid of thunderstorms. Just the crackle and the shake of the lightnings hit. And when the branches sway back and forth from the power of the lightning. And the light the lightning bolt produces. Or even just the loud roar of the thunder from miles away, creeping its way closer. It all gave me the chills.

I didnt want to wake Niall. He looked so peaceful. His chest would blow up and down to the pace of his heart beat. Every once and a while you could see his bottom lip curl together with his top.

I looked at the time. 10:46. Crap! I completely forgot about Patrick! He is gunna kill me! From the thought of his name, I jolted up and Nialls eyes opened also. "Wha-ohh Elle- whats wrong?" He asked, cringing his nose together and stretching his arms and legs.

"Pa-Patrick remember? Hes gunna kill me!" I quickly got up and pulled my jacket over my shoulders.

"Ohh crap-cant you just tell him you were at a friends house?"

"Well... If you knew my brother, you would know how nosy he is. He would probably ask 'who's house' and 'why didnt you call home before you went?' And all that crap, and I can't deal with that. I have to go-sorry," I mumbled, running down the stairs.

He followed but stopped at the balcony. "Maybe I will come back later or-" I stopped as I hopped a bit, pulling my left shoe on without untying it. "Is that ok?"

I slipped on my right shoe, but this time I sat down on the small little bench/ottoman to put it on so I didnt fall over. "Yeah, thats fine. You can call before you come. Ill type my number into your phone," He said.

"Ohh shit. I completely forgot to look for my phone! When I was lost I couldnt find it. Have you seen it somewhere around here?" I asked.

"I think it was in your pocket when you were on the couch over there, lemme check."

He looked through the coushins looking for it and finally pulled out my small Samsung phone with the light blue case attached to the back of it. "Ohh thank you!" I said after a moment of silence.

He tossed me his phone while he went onto mine, and I typed my phone number in, while he typed his into mine. I walked back over and once again we exchanged phones. "Thanks," I smiled.

"For what?"

"Everything..." I couldn't really thank him for each and every sweet thing he did for me yestarday and today, so I guess 'everything' could cover it all up.

"No problem, Ill have Liam drive you home, is that ok? I can come with if you'd like," Niall said.

"Ok thanks, and you don't have to. Ill be fine," I smiled as Liam walked into the room.

"Hey Liam, can you drive her home?" Niall asked him.

"Yeah sure. You can go wait in the car, it was actually just heating up because I was gunna go pick up breakfast," He said.

I nodded and headed out to the car. My bag was in hand, so I slung it over my left shoulder and it crossed over my chest, and hung beside the right of my hip.
