Grayson

Two weeks have passed since Ethan was killed. The police haven't turned up anything to identify the psycho. Nothing came out of the DNA test on the mask and they're in the process of calling it a cold case.

I stand at the window and look out it and down at the warehouse floor, at the red stain on the floor from Ethan's blood.

I startle myself when I see my reflection in the glass. I don't even recognize myself for a second. I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep, I've gotten skinnier from not eating much, and my tan's starting to disappear from lack of sunlight. Ethan's death has really taken a toll on me.

I notice something else in the reflection. Something leaning against the wall in the corner of the room. The tripod and the camera.

"One last video." I say to myself. "For Ethan."

I set up the tripod, hit record, and sit on the couch.

"What's up, guys?" I say, not very enthusiastic. "This video is gonna be a little different. As most of you know, two weeks ago, Ethan and I were held captive by a psycho and Ethan was killed. We still don't know who the psycho was or what he wanted from us, except to make our lives a living hell.

Ethan was my brother, my best friend, and now he's gone. I'll never forget him, which is why I'm doing this. Without Ethan, this channel can't continue. It's just not the same. There's one last video of Ethan and I that'll be posted next Tuesday to honor my brother, and after that, no more. I'm sorry." I get up and shut the camera off.

I edit the video that night and post it the next afternoon. Within hours, the video- which I titled "You'll Be in My Heart", after the song from "Tarzan"- reaches five million views and becomes the number one trending video on YouTube. The comments from the fans come pouring in, saying things like "I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP Ethan" and "We're here for you, Grayson." And for the first time since starting the Dolan Twins, I realize that the fans aren't just fans... they're family.
