"In our hearts, she will stay, Grace McCloud," The pastor said as they lowered my dear mother's body into the grave, I watched as the rain turning the dirt into mud slugged into the pit and onto the casket. The salty tears falling from my orbs was mixed with the sudden rain from a storm approaching, we then decided to have a minute of silence. The pastor kept checking his watch under his robe, I guess he had to be somewhere?

"Beeeeeeeeeeep!" A car down the street beeps at another car nearly crashing into each other I look at the pastor and he looks at me then we look at the crash down below.
"I'll go check it out, thanks for the service," I tell him as he shakes my hand and quickly runs to his car, he really had to be somewhere. I stroll down the hill to the street as the drivers of the cars are having an argument in the middle of the street I watch on as they discuss bills and compensation for the damages. As I hold my waist just watching them still drenched with rain I catch a glimpse of a boy in the backseat of one of the vehicle, he has jet black hair and his eyes are big and bold but stern. I shake myself from his gorgeousness,
"Should I call the police?" I ask the men arguing.

They shoot me a stern look, I thought it would be a good idea?

The boy in the back seat steps out of the car, wow, it was like a slow-motion scene. His hair began curling up due to the rain and he was lanky and still had the definition. He walked past me orbs meeting orbs, they were ocean green and full of heart. As he grabs my arm pushing me away I stare and hold my arm after still feeling his imprint and the electric pulses through me, starstruck he separates what I am guessing were his dad and the other driver I still on looked at them both I was still just standing in the rain, my funeral-themed makeup dripping down my face. The boy seemed to have resolved the issue and he got back in his beaten up car with his father, I was still just standing there dazed and confused at the sight of his shirt sticking to his body and his hair dripping onto his face covering those beautiful orbs. He drove away heading down the street as I walked back to my house it was only a few blocks away,

"Why is it still raining!" I yell to myself walking down the path.

____________

When I get home I see a car in the driveway next door then the biggest coincidence happens, I see some tall stems climbing out of a vehicle again I'm still staring at him.

The boy he's my next door neighbor!
