Rainy Days
I aimlessly wandered the streets wrapped in a cardigan lost and looking for him wondering where he would be or what he was doing. I grabbed my keys from inside running and jumping into my car bolting out the driveway to Quinn's,
Quinn is one of my oldest and well-known friends and I can not believe I haven't mentioned her before, she has been with me during all the mishaps and adventure I have been through especially in the boy and law variety.
I pull up in her driveway and walk up to her door frantically knocking at it waiting for someone to answer while having flashbacks of my dream, after minutes of knocking continuously turning the knob then a face appears her swampy orbs covered in sleep and her dressing gown a royal blue tied perfectly around her small frame. I almost started tearing up trying to blurt out a sentence as I told at her door in agony.
"I think I like someone Q' and I don't know where he is?"
"Just calm down Mia,"
She replies in a sincere tone widening the gap in the door and hugging me her dressing gown was soft and it felt nice having this reassurance and it really did calm me down. We wandered inside taking a seat in her bed, Quinn was hot but still loved getting straight A's and her room was decorated with study notes perfectly aligned on the walls and university banners in every corner, it was Barbie meets Einstein. Quinn was great therapy to me she knew everything about me and would always have a plan or know what to do and in this situation she was perfect."Have you tried calling him?"
"Didn't give me his number,"
"Do you any place he might be?"
"No..."
"It's early and food makes everything better,"I know she hadn't given up on helping me but maybe having some breakfast would help me think straight.

We got to Carl's the local spot where all the kids from school and people around town like to gather. We got out of the car walking towards the door side by side when I saw it, Lucas parents dinged up car from the crash at my mothers funeral, the parking job wasn't the greatest but as I caught my reflection in the glass of the car it clicked to me that he was here. I was going to see him after he defended me and then I basically had dream naughtiness with. Quinn was at the door of Carl's as I was contemplating life in the glare of a dinged up car, all I did when I walked through the doors of the restaurant was looking, and look I did doing once-overs over everyone's face some noticing and others not.
"Go find I table I think I left my phone in the car,"
Telling Quinn as she walks off finding a table and I madly dash out the door wandering around the car park, I felt like a sniffer dog trying to find him but I just wanted to see his face, in person, it was gorgeous and ugh.Behind Carl's is an old abandoned bus stop and the owner has just kept it there for kids to go hang out there, but mostly it is all the sardines and hoodlums hang out and I wouldn't expect Luca to be there but it was worth a shot. As I turned the corner rewrapping myself in my cardigan as the wind was quite powerful today I see a boy, head down one foot on the wall leaning back oh so perfectly smoke drifting from in between his lips. I looked at him and he looked at me,
"Luca, what are you doing?"
He stays quiet offering me a ciggy and me declining.
"Where were you this morning?"
"Here,"
"What about the beans?"
"What beans?"
"The ones you left on my window?"
"Not me..."
He looked at me solemnly and not confused at all I had never seen him like this, of course, he was broody and mysterious but this was different.
