I needed someone to hold me and tell me it was going to be okay and that I didn't over react I needed my best friend so I decided to drive over Monique's house she'll comfort me being on the phone with her just wasn't enough.

When I finally got their I knocked on the door and Monique stood with worried eyes.

"girl what are you doing standing out here? get in here" she said.

I walked in to see Elijah Monique's older brother he's twenty-two.

"wassup Janae" he said showing off his huge smile he didn't have on a shirt and may I say I was impressed.

Wait Janae you have a boyfriend remember? 

" I'll be back my food cooking" explained Monique then she walked off I couldn't even see her. 

"nothing just chilling" I responded to Elijah's greeting finally.

"still going out with white boy?" he questioned.

" yea" I responded.

He let out a sigh "you know you should get with a real nigga..."  he responded.

"oh really... like who?" I asked knowing I was feeding the fire.

"like me" he replied.

"look....Elijah you had your chance and you ruined it...and I'm with someone else know" I responded.

Yea I know me and Elijah use to be secretly dating I use to have really strong feelings for him I still have feelings but their just not as strong.

He started walking towards me until we were only like two inches away from each other I was looking up to him since he was in fact taller then me by some feet no big deal.

Then he grabbed me by my waist he licked his lips and leaned in closer.

But instead of a kiss he whispered in my ear "tell me when your ready for a real man" and then suddenly he let go of my waist and walked up the stairs leaving me speechless.  

I kept staring at the path he took I felt so bad I shouldn't be lusting after another man.

then Monique came out with a tray of lasagna it smelled good to.

'you are such a little chef" I said trying to play off what just happened.

"well don't just stand there let's eat" she said excited.
