*VERONICA*

Well, my life just got a whole lot more complicated. I am trying to go to sleep but these hives are just so itchy and they get in the way! I just want sleeeeeeeeeeeep. I've had a long day and I'm tired. Then of course when I got to sleep, I had a nightmare.

*Nightmare*

It all started when I woke to find myself strapped to a table. My mother, father, and little brother tied to whipping posts in front of me. Then three people-like dressed as soldiers appeared in front of me and addressed me saying that my family had been accused of various crimes and will be whipped to death because of their multiple felonies. And it was supposed to be done in front of me.

Just as I was processing what was happening, the three soldier-like creatures stepped forward, charged their electrified whips and started beating my family. I cried out for my parents and little brother but it was too late for them.

*End of Nightmare*

I woke up in a sweat soaked bed and pajamas. I looked over at the clock and it read 2:48 a.m. I tried to go back to sleep, but only restless fits of sleep came.

The next day at school was the worst. Sure every day of school is bad but today was definitely the worst. Do you want to know why it was the worst? Well, here you go.

First, I failed my big test I forgot about. Then, we had a pop quiz that I definitely wasn't ready for, I failed horribly. Then, to make matters so much worse, I got sick and had to leave school early.

*BACK AT HOME*

I hate that I had to go home early. I had another huge test in Science today that I didn't want to miss. But I soon realized that is was more than just a sickness that had caused me to get sick.

I was experiencing some sort of change in my body and I was really confused. It was scary and I didn't know what to do. So I asked my mother.

"Mom?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"I'm going through some changes in my body and I wanted to ask for some advice."

"Okay sweetie what kind of changes are you going through?"

"Some I'd prefer not to name."

"Okay then... I don't know how to answer if you don't tell me what kind of advice you would like to have."

"Okay... thanks I guess."

"You're welcome sweetie."

Great. So I'm going through this all alone.
