Rain drops were continuously hitting my window. My eyes were glued to the black sky, which for some reason, brought peace into my mind. It let me think properly. I felt relaxed. I felt like every problem of mine was solved, even though I had many of them yet to face.

Every little drop of rain, reminded me of each teardop of mine. Of the pain she caused me. She always made me believe it's all my fault, and I always thought that way. I always thought of myself as a mistake. If I never came into this world, everyone would be happier. But, life had to torture one more.

Ever since I was born, my life was just a rag for people to clean their shoes with. I think everyone truly saw 'Welcome' written all over me. I never had just a pinch of a happy childhood, it was far from it. Constant fighting, abusing, torturing... And I kept it all inside, hoping things would get better. But then, she had to come, and drain the little life that was left in me. That little ray of hope I had, she crushed it. Just me existing, it was unbearable for her.

Suddenly, my thoughts came to an end, as someone knocked on the door.

"Honey, you have a guest downstairs."

My mom's head peeked through my door, smiling happily.

"A guest?"

"Yes, he says he's a friend of yours."

"Oh-Um.. Tell him I'll be down in a second."

"Okay, but don't let your friend wait!"

"Sure thing, mom."

I smiled lightly and she closed the door.

I let out a sigh, as I turned to look at the sky once again. But, unfortunately, the rain stopped, and the sky was clearing out.

"Nika!" my mom yelled.

"I'm coming!"

Annoyed, I quickly got off my bed, and I ran downstairs, only to run into Jimin in the hallway.

"Jimin?" I asked confused.

"Hi!"

His smile was brighter than the sun itself, and his face was just shining.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to pick you up! Let's go do something together. It's the weekend, do you seriously plan on sitting inside all day?"

"That's exactly what I planned to do. You can join me if you want."

"No. You're going out with me. Let's go to the mall or something. Please, Nika."

He suddenly made a puppy face, basically begging me to go with him.

"Oh, fine then. Let me get my jacket."

"You're the best."

-AN HOUR LATER-

"Let's go on that one!" Jimin yelled

"If I go on another ride I'm gonna puke."

"But one more?"

He, yet again, looked at me with his famous puppy eyes which were very hard to resist.

"Okay, but I'm not bying you a new shirt."

"Why would-Oh... Well, fine then. We can go get coffee or something?"

"That sounds good."

We smiled at eachother and headed towards Starbucks (I'm so basic). 5 minutes later we were talking while sipping our caramel cappucinos, enjoying the atmosphere fully.

"And then he fell off the thing and broke his nose."

"Oh gosh... poor guy..."

"I know.. sad sad story..."

He looked to the side when, suddenly, his expression went blank, and he stared at me with eyes full of worry.

"Is something wrong, Jimin?" I asked him

He kept looking at me, and then shook his head.

"No.. no. Everything is fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah.. yeah."

He gave me his biggest smile that I couldn't resist.

"Okay then."

But, I knew. Something is bugging him. He just wouldn't tell me.

"Let's just go, huh? It's late already." he suggested

"Oh, um.. Okay, If you want."

He quickly stood up, grabbing me by the hand, and dragged me out.

"Hey, hey! Slow down!"

We left the shop and he kept walking fast, still holding my hand, as I was barely able to keep up with him. He seemed angry. His hand squeezed mine hard, almost like I would fall, and he wanted to protect me.

"Jimin, stop!"

I got no response, and he just kept walking.

"I said stop!" I yelled and forcefully pulled my and out of his grip

He turned around and looked at me, confused.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked

"What?"

"Why are you rushing? What happened?"

"No-nothing happened. Why are you asking?"

I sighed and came closer to him. I stood in front of him, our faces inches away.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yes. Everything is just fine. Let's go."

"No. Tell me the truth."

He licked his lips and bit them annoyingly, looking to the side.

"I just.. I saw something I didn't want to see."

"What was that?"

"I'd rather not speak about it."

I tilted my head to the side, as I stared in his eyes. I wanted to find out, I was curious to know the answer. I want to know more about him. I want him to trust me fully, like I trust him.

"Why?"

"Please, don't question me. Let's just go.."

I turned my look from him to the ground, as I examined the little strands of grass on it.

"Fine.."

"Nika."

He lifted my head up by placing his fingers on my chin.

"I'm sorry."

"Jimin, it's absolutely fine. If you don't want to talk about it, it's okay. I get it."

"You're not mad?"

"Why would I be? Come on, it's getting cold."

"Yeah.."

I smiled at him, and he did the same. He took my hand in his and we started walkng back home.
