Chapter 7

As soon as the school doors closed behind me I started walking through the large corridor, even though I had no clue where the principles office was I slowed down and looked towards the end of the corridor where a fat man with a suit, bald head and glasses stood wagging his finger infront of a students face, i guessed that it was the prinicple. Well it was time for an introduction it seemed.

I walked towards the big man and coughed loudly for him to notice me standing there. He stopped abrubtly and turned around to face me his eyes had a blank expression whilst he asked me in a non polite way "Who are you!?". I just stood there with a blank expression too as I hated being spoken to rudely so i decided i was going to stare him down until he got uncomfortable.

He started getting agitated, his face was turning red and i could see he was about to burst so i decided to explain to him who i was " Well i am the new kid, who is supposed to be starting today, but i'm already starting to think that this school's teachers have no respect for other people especially new students."

The priniciples face paled as it dawned on him the impression he just gave to the new kid which is me. He coughed slightly and spoke more politley " I am so sorry miss.."

"Sophia Andrews" I replied with a rather cocky smirk. I love my cockiness it's so me. "Well Miss Sophia Andrews, would you like to walk with me to my office, so we can get your timetable and locker combination?"

Sighing i said "Why of course my dearest principle, lead the way" i indicated for him to walk in front of me with my hand at which he just stared at my face a little shocked. Yes i was a tad dramatic but who cares, not moi.

As he led the way through the hall i just took in my surroundings it was way more colourful than my old school that's for sure. There was red walls that were aligned with white lockers on both sides of the hall. The floor was white and shiny, nice I commented in my head.

I didn't realise we stopped at a big white door that obviously led to the prinicple's office, as I  was too busy still looking around when I bumped right into the big man. "Sheesh a warning would have been nice" I mumbled as I rubbed my head.

" Sorry about that, come along now" he gestured to me to walk in beind him as he opened the big door. "Wow" I said in awe the whole room was in white with white walls to floor and a massive glass balcony, I mean seriosuly why is there a balcony in a priniples office. In the middle of the room there's a glass table with black leather chairs 2 on one side and 1 that i'm guessing the prinicples sits on.

The principle walked around his desk and sat down and so i did the same but opposite him. He began explaining all the shool rules which I zoned out of looking out onto to the glass balcony. " Miss Andrews, I hope you enjoy your time here and what the Cheshire High School has to offer, here's your timetable and locker number.Do you need anybody to escort you?"

I looked back at him after being done with my zoning out and then looked down at the desk to see a name plate that read Principle D. Evans. " Well Mr Evans, I hope i do too and it was nice meeting you" i replied politely resisting the urge to roll my eyes at his cheesy smile. I was just about to walk out the office door when I remembered something. I turned back around and said blankly " oh and Mr Evans i don't need anybody to escort me, thanks for the offer though" with that said i turned back around, opened the door and walked out to the corridor.
