Chapter 17

After the little breakdown I had, I jumped up from my  bed and grabbed a towel to have a quick shower to help me relax and look more presentable for my mum. Finishing up in the shower I got out and dressed in my gym clothes since I was gonna get a session in just before bed tonight. I grabbed my grey leggings, black vest top and to top it off the grey  hoodie that matched my leggings chucked them on with a pair of black sports socks and my Nike trainers. I left my hair down to air dry since I didn't want to use heat on it to much,i'll make sure to tie it up when I go to the gym.

I walked down the long ass stairs towards the kitchen since that is where my mum usually is with our housekeeper Susy. They have become the best of friends and it hasn't even been a month. I'm glad she has found someone to share things with or just in general to talk to. I got to the entrance of the kitchen and saw my mum and Susy both laughing away at something on my mums phone. I really didn't want to take her happiness away from her again, since my dad passed away she never really was the same again.

I was starting to feel guilty I didn't want to cause her any distress by telling her about how my past is finally catching up to me. I'll just deal with it on my own this time I won't drag her into this mess again I thought to myself. First things first I gotta eat, the mouthwatering smell of chicken stir fry was intruding into all of my senses all to quickly. I removed all the worry I had from my mind just till I was away from my mum since sometimes she could tell if something was up, don't know how but it was kinda freaky. I made myself present in the kitchen and greeted both of them who were still laughing, I went straight to the pot containing the stir fry and filled my plate up, I then went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water and sat down at the dinner table.Guess I'll be eating on my own tonight.

Finishing my dinner I walked to the sink and left my plate inside it and ran back up to my room to tie my hair back and get ready to go to the gym which was located in my back garden in a type of outhouse. I had to start getting prepared for any types of attacks on me since I knew the bastard clearly would find what country i'm in within a week maximum. Training was going to make me super sore tomorrow. I walked to my speakers and plugged in my phone to start my playlist for gym and then started on my quick stretches and then grabbed my boxing gloves.

After a couple hours at the gym I walked back to my room sweat covering me from head to toe. I needed to have a hot shower to help with my sore muscles , since I had school in the morning. after the shower I left my hair to dry naturally and jumped into my bed. I just closed my eyes when my phone alerted me because of a message,grabbing my phone from the bedside I unlocked it and saw it was from an unknown number again. I immediately tensed I had a feeling this was not going to be a sweet goodnight text.

Opening up the text I started reading it " Dear Sweet Sophia, I hope you have been thinking about me today I know I have been thinking about you. I wanted to tell you that I will be with you within the week, you can run but i'll always find you no matter where you are in the world. After all you are mine and you belong to me. Also you are my most prized possession I have trained you myself and you know what happens if you are disobedient to me. You leaving the country was not a wise choice my darling,the consequences will be dire. Now i'm sure you wouldn't want anybody getting hurt. I do not want to do this to you but I will if you do not tell me where you are. Have a goodnight love!. Don't miss me to much😏.

"Bloody hell what am I going to do now!" I shouted out. "Should I text him back and tell him to fuck off, hmm yeah I think I should". I told my myself. Hitting the message box at the bottom of the screen I typed the message "Fuck off and leave me alone, I've left that part of me behind long ago stop trying to drag me back into it. I don't want to be a part of something like that ever again. So do us both a favour and just stay where you are!." I clicked send but my hands were still trembling. "Get a grip on yourself Sophia you can't show any weakness to him." I muttered to myself. Putting the phone back down on the bedside table I didn't even wait for his reply for now I needed sleep to take me away from all this mess, hopefully my dreams would be a lot more inviting.
