Chapter 13, Hospital

Ashley's POV

I waited for Ty to get here for like a half hour. I was so nervous I could explode. Just as I was about to call his phone, Ty ran through the door, knocking down a girl that looked about 20 in his path.

"ASHLEY! Is Amy ok? What happened? Is she out yet?" He asked.

"Ty, I don't know yet. All I know is that she got beat up by this girl at the mall and she was knocked unconscious. This girl obviously knew her," I said.

"Was it that Kimi Joyal girl?"

"How'd you know?"

"I went with Adam and Ian to adopt Amy. Kimi was being rude to her while all the people there were right in front of her."

"Oh, ok," I said, sadly.

We sat there in silence for about twenty minutes, when Ty decided to break the silence.

"Ashley, I need to tell you something, and you can't tell anyone, ok?" he asked. "Alright, I won't tell, what is it?" I said.

"I've had a crush on Amy since I first saw her. It would be amazing if she liked me too, but I doubt it'll ever happen," he said.

I was shocked, I didn't think Ty liked her in that way. But I have to support him, because I think Amy likes him too. I don't really know though.

"Your secret is safe with me," I said.

~Time Skip~

Amy's POV

I woke up in a hospital bed, and my nose and leg hurt pretty bad. My stomach hurt, too, they must have found my other injury.

I turn my head to see Ashley and Ty. I dunno when Ty got here, but I shouldn't question it.

"Hi Amy, how ya doin?" Ashley asked me. "Fine, a little bit sore, but fine," I said.

Ty looked at me with sad eyes, like he knew exactly what happened and who did this. Wait, he does know. He was there when Kimi hurt me at the orphanage, and Ashley must've told him it was her.

They start asking me questions about how I was and am I hurting or anything like that. I think I'm fine.

Ty's POV

'If only I could get Ashley out of the room, I could tell Amy how I feel. But Ashley knows I like her. That would be to much pressure having her in here. My god, Ty, just SHUT UP!' I thought to myself as Amy and Ashley talked.

"Ty, watch Amy, I have to use the bathroom," Ashley said. She got up and left. 'NOW'S MY CHANCE' I thought.

I got up and walked over to Amy. Ashley was sitting in the chair right next to her, so I sat there.

"Hey, dude," Amy said. I smiled, knowing she was ok.

"Hey, girl. So, I'm sorry about what Kimi did, Ashley told me that she witnessed her and Stephanie being arrested," I said.

"Are you serious?" she asked with wide eyes. I thought she was upset, but then she smiled.

"Yup," I said. We sat in silence for what felt like ten minutes, but was only thirty seconds.

"So, Amy. I've wanted to say this for a while, but I've been too nervous. So, here it goes," I said. I took a deep breath. "Amy, I've had the biggest crush on you since the first time I saw you at the orphanage. You're so pretty, nice, caring, and an amazing girl overall."

She froze, did I say too much? Then, she said, "Ty, I can't believe it, I like you to!"

Just then, Ashley walked in. She was playing Flappy Bird on her phone, so I had time to switch back to my seat without her noticing.

I can't believe Amy likes me.
