Chapter 17, Secrets

Adam's POV

"So Ian, I watch your videos on YouTube. pretty funny if you ask me," I say.

"Thanks dude. When I'm not recording with Anthony, sometimes I sit around and watch yours. You always seem to be recording with... what's his name... Dreadlocks?" He replied. Wow. NOOOOOB

I facepalmed. "It's 'Deadlox' with an x. And yeah, I record with mainly my best friends."

"Who are they?"

"Ty, Tyler, Kyle, Ross and Brandon."

"And they are........?"

I sigh. "Deadlox, MunchingBrotato, Kkcomics, House Owner and Bashurverse."

This guy asks a lot of questions. I imagine I'll have to befriend him if Amy is going to be around Audrey. Oh God.

Ian and I talk about random video games when a girl starts walking toward the table.

Oh, the girl from the Apple store, when I got Amy's phone! The one with the rainbow hair! What was her name.... it was.... I forgot it... whoops (A/N idk it just sounds like something Adam would do)

"Hey! Haven't talked to you in a while!" she said. A while meaning 3 days?

"Hey..... you! How's life at the Apple store?" I said, trying not to give it away that I had forgotten her name.

"Fun! I get to mess around with the computers and stuff."

Her name tag read 'Zero'. That's it!!!!

"Cool!"

Ian, being the idiot he is, had to poke his nose into our business.

"Who are you?" he said. I facepalmed.

"Ian, this is Zero. Zero..... Ian."

Ian decided he would step out so she and I could talk.

Zero sat down at the table, across from me. She's so pretty.

"So, when are we going to have that date?" She asked.

"I dunno, I'm just chaperoning my daughters day with her friend," I said. "Can't be now."

"Oh, is she your daughter?" she asked, pointing at Amy.

"Yes, that would be her."

"She's a cutie!" Zero said. God, her name is cool.

"So, Zero, how did you get your name? Is it your real name?" I ask, curiously.

"No, it's just my nickname. When I was in middle school, I never got a single question wrong on a test, so my English teacher started calling me Zero. It kind of stuck, so yeah. Zero," she answered. She must be pretty smart if she never got a question wrong.

"Thats awesome!" I exclaimed.

I look over to where Amy and Audrey are, and I see Amy looking at me. She quickly turns her head away.

While Zero and I talk, I hear Amy yell what I thought was "HES GORGEOUS!". Wonder what that was about. Probably some celebrity.

Amy's POV

I wonder if Adam heard that. He most likely did. He doesn't know about me and Ty. His best friend.

"So Audrey, do you like anyone?" I ask.

Audrey has this face that she makes, a cross between confused and weirded out, that she makes when she's thinking.

"I like Bajan."

"Mitch?"

"Duuuhhhhh. He's hot." (A/N I'm sure all of us girls can agree there)

"He's also 20."

"Oh honey, age doesn't matter when it's true love."

Did she just call me honey?

"Audrey, you've never met him. How is it true love?" I say, trying not to laugh.

"It just is!" she says, eating her potato chips, pretending to be angry.

We laugh, and she starts singing 'Love is an Open Door' from Frozen. She's so funny. I tell her I could organize a day for them to meet, along with Ashley Mariee.

I see the girl Adam was with leaving, and Ian sits back down with three bags from Subway. Wtf? He literally eats every sandwich he got. And there was like, six. Wow.

I decide I have to tell Audrey my secret. I take a deep breath, hoping she won't tell anyone. She won't, she's my best friend.

"Audrey," I say. "I have to tell you a secret. And you have to promise never to tell anyone, especially Adam."

"I promise," she says.

"Adam doesn't know about me and Ty. They are best friends, but we can't tell him this. You can't tell anyone. It's between you and me..... and Ty. Ok?" I ask, and I hold out my pinky.

"Ok," and a pinky promise has been made. No breaking it now.

~Time Skip to leaving the mall~

Ian and Adam have agreed to let Audrey stay the night with me. Ian and Audrey say their goodbyes, and she hops into the car with me and Adam.

I get a text message, and guess who it's from.

Audrey. Why is she texting me when she's right behind me? Then my question is answered. It's about Ty

(AD- Amy Dahlberg)

(AH- Audrey Hecox)

AH- Does Ty live with you guys?

AD- Yes, along with Jason, Quentin, Jerome, Mitch, and Ian.

AH- Cool! I can meet him! Wait... MITCH LIVES WITH YOU!?!?!?!

AD- Yes he does. I will text him and tell him his "lover" is coming and see what he says. Lol

AH- do it I dare you

I go into my text thread with Mitch.

AD- Hey Mitch, guess what

M- Whatup dawg?

AD- Your lover is coming

M- Waaaaat?

AD- I have a friend coming over. She is obsessed with you. Get ready to be loved.

M- Oh lawdy

AD- Lol see you in a few

M- Hokeyp

I text Audrey a screenshot of the conversation.

AH- LOL

AD- Ikr

AH- I can't wait to meet him and Ty!

We stop texting. About a fifteen minutes later, we enter the TC house driveway.
