Chapter 4 A New Life

Amy's POV (new povs next chapter)

My eyes widened, my mouth fell open, I stared in shock. I looked over to Kimi, who had the same expression as I did. She was turning red, and I could tell she was about to blow.

"How could you pick HER?! I am the obvious choice here! She's nothing but the maid, she does our chores for us, she makes our meals, we need her here or we're screwed! You can still change your minds, you know!" she screamed in anger. The guys just looked at her, then at me, then at Miss Stephanie, then at me again.

Miss Stephanie walked over to the guys, my new family, apparently, and whispered to them. I could hear words such as "why did you pick her" and "Kimi is a much better choice" and finally "we need Amelia here", but they refused to reconsider.

We were sent to our rooms, and I was SOOOOO happy and excited! As we walked back, Kimi punched me in the stomach. I fell to my knees, it hurt really bad.

"You. Little Amelia. You ruined my life. Why they picked you, I don't know, but let me tell you one thing. You aren't worth anything," she said, fists ready to punch again.

"We both know why they picked me, because of you, what you said to me. I think they know a b*tch when they see one. Now, let me gather my things in peace," I said, and I think it made her mad, because she ran off, crying.

~Time Skip to Amy's room~

I quickly gathered what little belongings I had, realizing that my new family of three picked me because Kimi must have seemed like a brat to them, like she always has to me.

I look around my room one last time, and suddenly remember the necklace that my mother left for me. I run over the place where I hid it from Miss Stephanie, because she would've taken it otherwise, and put it on.

I immediately run to Audrey's room, hoping that she hasn't left yet. when I get there, she's sitting on her bed. When she sees me, she runs to me and hugs me.

"Amy, did you get chosen? Please say you did! I don't want you to live here by yourself," she said. She looked like she was about to cry, but so was I, in fear of never seeing my best friend again.

"I got picked! Kimi is staying here with Miss Stephanie for the next three months! But, I don't know if I'll ever see you again," I said. She pulled out her phone and started doing something on it. Then she started writing something on a piece of paper.

"Here, this is my phone number. You can call or text me any time you want to, ok? I'm here for you," she said, handing me the piece of paper. I took it from her and hugged her again.

We caught up with all the other girls being adopted, and walked downstairs with them. I could tell we all were looking forward to living with our new families.

When I got downstairs, I walked over to the group of guys that adopted me, who were signing papers. The one with short, curly dark brown hair walks over to me.

"Hey, I'm Adam, or SkyDoesMinecraft. That's Ian and that's Ty," he said, pointing to the two others, they wave at me. "I guess we're your new family,"

"I'm Amelia, but I go by Amy. So, there are three of you? No girls, just guys?" I asked. I was really curious as to why there were three guys and no girls. Adam looked at me like I was crazy, but then started talking again.

"Actually, there are seven of us. We all live together, and we're pretty much all best friends. No, there aren't any girls living with us, you'll be the only one, but don't worry, I think you'll like it," he said. "By the way, do you watch YouTube?"

"Yeah, I watch mostly the gamer channels like AntVenom and CaptainSparklez. I think I saw them in the crowd," I said. Wait a minute.... "Wait, are you guys part of Team Crafted?!"

"Yup, you watch us?" Ty said as he walked over to me and Adam. I started smiling, and Ian started to walk over. They all started laughing.

"Heck yeah I watch you guys! Well, when I had a chance to get to the computer without anyone noticing," I answered. They looked at me like I was a villain that just escaped from prison.

"Well, that doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that you enjoy living with a group of gamers," Ian said, smiling.

~Time Skip to Drive Home~

We all got into the car, and Ty let me sit up front while he sat in the back with Ian, and Adam drove. I had so many questions to ask, so I started asking some.

"So, what are the others like? Will they like me?" I asked. Ty looked at me and said, "Of course, you seem awesome. So, you said you like video games. What games do you like?"

"I mostly play Minecraft on PC, but I like Happy Wheels and this Star Wars game called Clone Wars Adventures. Those are the only games I've ever played, really," I said.

"Well, we'll have to set you up a YouTube channel when we get home. I think you'll like the YouTube life, it's fun," Adam said. I was really happy I had such nice people as a family, even though I haven't met the other four.

I hope they accept me.

If you're one of those people that ACTUALLY READS these notes, then I would like to say thanks for putting up with my crappy grammar and errors in this story. I'm typing from my phone, so I have auto correct on to do all the grammar stuff for me lol. Sorry if my chapters are to long for you, or if they are to short for you, it all depends on how creative I feel at the time of writing. well I think that's it.
