ARMEN:
I awoke, hearing the pounding of my own heartbeat ringing in my ears. I gasped as breath suddenly flowed into my lungs, and a strong pain covered my entire body. I blinked rapidly, as the dryness of my eyes cleared up I glanced around me. The stiffness of my legs and arms didn't allow me to move. I was stuck lying in the shifting temperature of the sand for a while, the pressure laying down on me. I was gasping and huffing, coughing out air and sucking it back in again. It felt strange to be aware and awake, breathing and feeling the warmth of the air and being able to move. I sat up slowly and panted, letting my head hang down, allowing me to stare down at my hands. I moved my fingers in front of my face, my eyes following the movements. I heard the joints in my hands pop, and a slight sting flowing through my fingers for only a small moment, causing my to flinch, but the sting faded as quick as it came, allowing me to move my fingers once again. I'm...Alive?
