"Damn it all!" England muttered as he accidentally cut his finger. Sure, the wound would heal in a little while, but, still, he put a small bandage on it. He was just twirling a knife around foolishly, but there wasn't very much to do in his house. Most European nations were busy with the sudden rise of an English wizard, making everyone, more specifically the blond, stressed out.
At some point, England managed to walk in his study, an owl reminding him why he was so mad previously. He glared at it as it flapped his wings, unaware of its master's rage. The blond is done. Done with this 'Harry Potter' fellow. If he was so powerful, why hasn't he killed that 'flight of death' person by now?
Due to numerous meetings, he had not the pleasure of meeting the boy who defied death, and, from the stories he'd hear from that bumbling Minister, he really didn't want to.
Not that his words really had any measure, Fudge wasn't the brightest bulb in the room, you see.
The phone rang out loudly, slightly scaring the blond as he was wrenched out of his thoughts.
"Er, Mr. England?" a voice asked after England, a bit rudely, greeted them. "I-It's me, Alice Grave. Er, Mr. Scotland wanted me to pass a message to you."
"Why doesn't he send it himself?"
"His owl is... uncooperative, lately. I'd be there myself, but... well, it's his week, you see. That, and he's currently intoxicated."
England sighs, frustrated once again. "I'm sorry, Alice, what's the message?"
The man heard the phone being set down before rustling of paper sounded. "'Arthur, I need you to work at Hogwarts as a professor. Now, I wasn't planning on there being more than one spot open, but, apparently, Albus wants to broaden the student's horizons by adding extracurricular classes. All he needs is a music teacher, an art teacher, and a DADA assistant'-"
"Then what the bloody hell am I teaching?!" England interrupted, pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance.
"-'I've a feeling you probably asked what you're teaching-'" (Damn you, Scot, you can read me all too well, England thought.) "'-and it's History of Magic. Good old Binns finally moved to the afterlife, bless his soul. Just send me the meeting notes with Merlin and I'll be set.'
"Sir," Alice continues, even after she said that was all, "I strongly advise you to use your human name. The children in that school are strongly impressionable; Harry Potter, I know for certain, likes putting his nose into things where it doesn't belong."
England smiles softly, "Thank you, Mrs. Grave."
"Anytime, sir. Would you like your home set up for arrival?"
"No, but thank you anyways. Mind giving your husband my greetings?"
"Not at all, sir!" England could just hear her blush and smile before she hung up. Such a sweet woman Alice was; the nation was truly thankful that he had her as a captain representative.
He didn't dwell on this, however.
"William, come here." The owl swiftly flew over to rest on his desk, England petting his head as he smiled fondly. "Mind getting Merlin for me?" The animal hooted and stayed in his place. England rolled his eyes before getting a small treat and holding it. Immediately, William zoomed out of the open window, leaving England to gather his notes, bringing out his phone soon after.
~Small A/N~
See, now, a normal person wouldn't start another book, but I had a sudden streak of inspiration, so that's my excuse, what's it to ya.
Idk what Scotland is actually like, all I know is what he looks like.
Disclaimer: Any and all Hetalia characters do not belong to me, and if I owned Harry Potter, the deaths would be even more gruesome, so I don't own that, either.

They are humans asked to assist their nations in important meetings. Alice Grave represents London, but acts as the sole representative for all of the U.K.
