Hopeless

Is That Her...

  ( Kat's POV)

  *Ring Ring Ring I pick up the phone*.  "Get here now please" Bryan Said. "Ok I'm on my way".

     I was thinking about what he said as I was getting dressed. (His voice was Stumbly and scared). I grabbed my keys and ran out the door. I went the area where Bryan was be was in his knees crying. I walked over to him and noticed a dead body. He looked up at me. His eyes were swollen from crying.

     "Is this her my sister is this Emily" He said angry. I stood speechless. "IS THIS EMILY GOD DAMMIT ANSWER ME" he said screaming. "I...I...I don't know her body is burnt I will ha e to calm the crew to find out" I said. "If its her I'm gonna murder you" he said serious.

     I walked away and called the crew. I walked back and Bryan was gone. A ran to look around and I found him sitting on a bench. I sat next to him he looked at me his face was so red and sad.

     "I don't think its her" I said. "Ya you think but you dont know" He said mm mumbling.

     I walked back with Bryan and he got in his car and went home. (Emily if thats your body. I swear to got who ever did it will be killed) I thought.  I saw the bag over her body I a bed and people taking pictures.

     "Thank for calming him down it could've been worse" Chief Said. "Ya but what if it is Emily how could you break that towards him" I said starting to cry. "You won't half to I will if you want" He said hugging me. "We will solve this" He said letting go. "Just prey its not her" I said.

     I got in my car a drove to the police station. I saw the van pull up in the I watched the guys take out the bed with the body. I started to cry again. I walked in the station and say at my desk. I went in the little freezer under my desk and grabbed pizza pocket. I put it in the microwave and made some coffee.

     I took my belt off and logged into my computer. I checked the body files but there nothing yet. I layed back in my chair and looked at the microwave to see how much time was left. The microwave went off and I grabbed the pizza pocket and coffee. I sat there and ate my brunch (Breakfast and lunch together XD). The Chief walked in my office. He grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. He looked at me happy.

      "I have good news for you" He said. "What" I said still chewing. "That body is not Emily but its a girl who was raped" He said looking down. "Who is it" I said. "We dont know her DNA came up with so many names" He said. "How is that possible" I said confused. "I don't know" He said waking out "you can go to Bryan's house and tell him if you want then you can go home" He said. "Ok" I said.

     I packed my stuff up and walked out. I drove to Bryan's house. I got out and walked to his door and rang his doorbell. No one answered. I rang it again and Bryan opened it his eyes were miserable.

     "I'm gonna kill them" He said clenching his is fists. "Who" I said. "The people that took Emily" I said. "Did something happen" I said. "They sent me a message with Emily In it" He said "Listen....t..o I..I..it" he said stumbling. "Ok" I said.

     I took his phone and played the play button.

     "Do you want to see your sister let's go see her.....Emily I have a sur... WHAT THE FUCK SHE RAN AWAY FUCKING FIND HER NOW.  Why the fuck would you want to do that sweetheart now look what you did you tripped and fell and didnt bother to get up. "I didnt trip"IT. Yes you.. WHO THE FUCK SHOT HER LEG YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SCARE HER TO COME BACK NOT FUCKING AIM FOR HER LEG WHO DID IT. "I did sorry sir:".I gave you directions and you screwed up. *BANG* *Static*...............................*Ends*

     "I'm gonna kill them all" He said shutting his phone off and he started to ball. "She must be so hurt that gun he used could kill her in a minute" I said hugging Bryan. "THAT DOSENT MAKE THIS SITUATION FEELING OR HOPE ANYBETTER WHEN YKU SAY SHIT LIKE THAT YUR SUPPOSED TO HELP AND INSTEAD OF TELLING MY GOOD STUFF YOU SAY STUPID SHIT I DONT WANT TO HEAR WHAT OF SHES DEAD NIW THAG YOU SAID THAT YOU SAID IT SK NOW I THINK SHES DEAD THANKS TO YOU YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO FIND HER WELL LOOK HOW FAR BEHIND YOU ARE YOU PROMISED THAT YOU WOULD FIND HER YOU BROKE THAT PROMISE NOW SHE GOT SHOT AND NOW SHE MIGHT BE DEAD SO INSTEAD OF SITTING HERE GET YOUR ASS UP AND LOOK FOR HER" he said flining up from the bench. "I..I.I" I said getting cut off. "LEAVE MY HOUSE" I said.

    I got in my car and drove home I ingorned the kids and my hubby and went straight to bed crying.

    ( Bryan I know I can find her trust me please I know your head is messed up but please trust me) I thought as I was sobbing.

     "Babe what's wrong" Mark said. "I messed something up really Bad" I said. "Did you get fired" Mark said rubbing my face. "No I messed up somebody's hope and now that person hates me" I said crying. "Is it that Bryan Kid and his sister deal babe its just a jail fight separation right" He said giggling. "No that's Jace and Anna this is the trafficking one" I said shoving my fave in my pillow. "Oh wow if you did something bad in this case thats really bad" He serious.

     I looked at him and gave him a dirty look. The. I realized thats what I sounded like I didnt help him feel better I made his feeling worse. I pulled my knees to my chest and thought about what I did. Mark turned off the light and I went pitch black. I coudnt sleep knowing that I had failed to be a good person to help someone solve a case and make them feel good. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
