"Kissing your sister what does it look like?" Gale says.

"I'll show you what." I say punching him in his nose causing a crunch and blood to come pouring out of his nose.

"Katniss!" the girls say in shock.

"Oh get lost." I say before walking out the canteen and making my way home.

I arrive home and go upstairs. Yay. I knew it would be like this. I knew LeighAnne would get all the guys. I mean. I can look attractive to when I try. There are two guys but they probably only want to talk to me to find out how to get Leigh. I scowl and lie on my bed. This always happens. I'm always second best. I hear the door knock. I go down to open it.

It's Cato.

"What are you doing here?" I say.

"I'm here to see if your ok. Can I come in?" I nod and open the door a bit wider. He comes in and we go sit in the kitchen. I start to make coffee.

"Want some?" I ask politely.

"Yeah sure. So are you ok?"

"I'm fine. I'm used to split knuckles. I punch a lot of people." I say handing him his cup.

"Woah Katniss, your knuckles are bleeding." He says standing up and walking over to me.

.He takes my hand and pulls me over to the sink. He holds my hand under the warm water. I stare up at his face. Watching as he gets the first aid kit out of the cupboard. Watching sd he bandages my knuckles.

"There you go." He says putting the first aid kit back. I smile at him before turning to go back to the table but I end up tripping. Cato catches me and we end up in a really close position. Slowly I lean in and so does he. Our lips touch. Before I pull away.

"Can I ask you a question?" He says.

"Course anything."

"How do I get LeighAnne to like me?"

"What in the name of bread? Are you having a laugh? Get out of my house Cato! Get out of my  house right now!" I yell
