UT Papyrus x Dying!Reader(Hanahaki Disease)

Hanahaki Disease;

Is an illness born from one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs of flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. The infection can be removed through surgery, but the feelings disappear along with the petals.

(y/n) had been suffer of an illness that no one know what kind of illness it was even the doctors, who were desperately try to figure it out. The only things that they found were quiet shocking because they found some flowers filled inside her lungs, that was the cause for her hardly breathing. For her friends and family, it was a despair for them to have their cheerful, full of energy person to have this kind of bizzare disease. However, for (y/n), she already knew that they will have the illness, because of her feeling.

She knew what kind of illness it was because she met with a person that told her that she had been cursed because of her feeling. She met the person by an accident when she was heading to the Skelebros house. She usually take a shortcut to their home and in the end of the road, she found a small cottage that she never see before. She entered the house and greeted by a blonde wavy hair woman. She wore a dark blue witch dress with a dark blue witch hat. Story long cut short, the woman told her about it. When (y/n) tried to find the place, the house wasn't there anymore.

(y/n) was sitting on her bed, looking at the view outside the hospital through a window. A bird landed on her window and chirped cheerfully. Her eyes fixed on the bird,with a small smile drew on her lips. She felt a sharp pang on her chest and she coughed with her hand covered her mouth. She took a long breath after the coughing. She stared On some petals of Lavender flower rested on her palm. There were some soft knock on the door.

"HUMAN? CAN I COME IT?"

Upon hearing the high pitch voice, (y/n) smile grew wider. She told the person to come in after wipe off the petals from her hand. A tall skeleton that wore a red scarf around his neck entered the room with a wide smile on his face.

"Are you alone,Papyrus?"

"YES INDEED!THE OTHERS ARE BUSY WITH THEIR WORK BUT,THEY SEND YOU SOME GIFT TO CHEER YOU UP!"

Papyrus handed her a bouquet Lavender flowers in front of her. (y/n) stared at the flowers with a blank look on her face. Papyrus noticed about her behavior and waved the flowers in front of her.

"UMM HUMAN?YOU DON'T LIKE THE PRESENT?THESE ARE YOUR FAVOURITE AFTER ALL!" (y/n) snapped from her daze and took the flowers with a faint blush.

"Yeah, these are my favorite. Thanks!" she gave him a toothy smile.

"I HAVE A LOT OF STORIES TO TELL YOU ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY! UNDYNE TAUGHT ME A NEW RECIPE OF SPAGHETTI! WE MADE IT ALMOST FOR A WHOLE DAY AND...."(y/n) just stared at his happy face with a smile,didn't listen his stories.

To be honest,she got the illness because of her feeling Of love towards someone that was Papyrus. He was the one who made her sick.Yes,she had a feeling towards him that more than a friend. However,he didn't feel the same as her.She didn't blame him at all because she knew that he consider her as his friend and she didn't need to confess to him about her feeling. His energetic,friendly and kind personality made her fall in love with him.

She was not the only one to know about her feeling towards him.She told Sans,Papyrus' brother,about her illness and feelings towards his brother.Sans shocked that she fall in love with his cool brother, and angry that she didn't want to cure her illness.

*why don't you just take a surgery to remove the flowers from your lungs?

Yes,there was a way to get rid the illness by taking a surgery.However,she disagree with his suggestion.
