Where is she???!

Where did she go??

Those were the only thing that Sans could think of, as he ran around Snowdin, searching for (y/n), the human.

He ran pass the people that greeted him. He was only thinking to find the human.

Everything was normal earlier when Sans was about to go to Grillby, (y/n) just acted like her usual self, happily helping Papyrus with his cooking session.

When he came back from Grillby, he thought that they already done with thw cooking and do their own thing, but, he saw something horrifying, that made his soul shattered into pieces.

Papyrus ran to Sans while carrying a bloodied cutter. Papyrus cried while explained that he want to ask (y/n) if she can help him with his new puzzle, but he only found a bloodied cutter lying on the floor in her bedroom. Withouy wasting any time, Sans stormed out the house, leaving the crying Papyrus alone in the house.

He could just teleport to other places easily to find her, but he wasn't thinking straight.

He was entering the Waterfall and continue to search for her. He halted his steps when he saw a glimpse of a person sat on the ground of Echo Flower field beside the glowing river.

He panted for a while before he ran towards the person with all his might. His pace getting slower as he getting near with the person. He breathed heavily as he looked at the (h/c) girl's back. Her head buried on her knees, concealed her face.

Sans wiped off the sweats that dripping on his skull. She didn't notice his presence, as he slowly sit next to her. His white pinpricks looked at the blood staints on her bloody sleeves. Her arms shivered as she silently sobbed on her knees.

Sans slowly reached his phalanges towards her. (Y/n) flinched when she felt someone gently touched her back. She immediately slapped his hand.

"LEAVE ME ALONE! " She said, her voice filled with anger and sadness. Her (e/c) orbs glared at him with tears falling down her her cheeks.

"(Y/n), please calm down-"

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP! "

She was about to slap him, but Sans caught both of her hands.

"(Y/n), calm down I'm trying to help you! " Sans said, trying to calm her down.

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP! LEAVE ME ALONE! "

"GOD DAMNIT LET ME HELP YOU (Y/N)!" Sans screamed as he applied some pressure on his grip. (Y/n) winced in pain from Sans gripping on her cuts, causing her to cry.

"Stop...it's hurt.... " she closed her eyes tightly as she cried in pain. Sans snapped when he saw her face. He let go off her handa. Then, he hugged her gently, didn't want to hurt her.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry so much.. "Sans said in regret. (Y/n) buried her face on his chest, as she sobbing silently.

After (y/n) finally calm down from her mental breakdown, both of them silently looked at the glowing river while (y/n) hugged hee knees on hee chest.

"Sans... I'm sorry for earlier. I was... not in my stable state... "She softly apologized, her gaze didn't left the river. Sans sighed, looking at her in sympathy.

"It's okay, kiddo. "His white pinpricks glanced at her bloody wrist. "Are the cuts..deep? "Sans asked, concern filled in his voice.

"I didn't cut them that deep. I just cut the skin. "She answered.

Sans knew that (y/n)'s background was not a good one. She told them before, that she had this problem when she was at the surface. Her dream crushed, her family disowned her, the toxic relationship with her ex, and she can't handle the reality of the world.

She told them the reason on why she went to MT. Ebbot. She wantes to end her life, but didn't dare to make it. However, she tripped and fell into the hole into the Underground.

After few months staying in the Underground, her mental state getting better thanks to Papyrus and others support to help her to fight her inner demons. However, she still can't control herself when something triggers her, remembering back those awful things that happened to her.

"What triggered you that made you like this? " Sans asked as he looked at her from the corner of her eyes. She sighed deeply.

"It's about... My toxic relationship with my ex. Papyrus said something that reminded me, of... my ex abuse..." She scratched her head in frustration. "I tried to calm myself, but, my inner demon was too powerful. It took over my mental state when i saw the cutter that i use to cut some papers to decorate my notebook, lying on the table. "She held her legs tightly, her eyes filled with tears.

"Sans, i need to tell you something. " (y/n) turned her head to the side, her puffy (e/c) eyes looking at him in the eyes.

"I... I love you, Sans. "She confessed to him. Sans' eyesockets widen in surprise with her sudden confession.

"But, the problem is... I'm scared to be in a relationship, after what happened with my past relationship." Sans frowned upon listening to her statement.

"I'm scared that, we might not going to make it. Besides, I'm a human and you're a monster. You wouldn't want this human garbage to be as your partner for life. "Her breathing started to heavier as she spoke.

"What if i never satisfy you? "

A vision of (y/n) smiled happily flashed in his head.

"WHAT IF I AM A BURDEN FOR YOU JUST LIKE ON HOW IM A BURDEN FOR MY FAMILY?? "

A vision of (y/n) excitedly help Papyrus with his puzzle flashed in his head.

"WHAT IF I ONLY GETTING IN YOUR WAY?? "

Sans clenched his phalanges into fist.

"WHAT IF-"

Before she could finish her sentence, Sans pulled her and gave her a kiss on her (l/c) soft lips. (Y/n) 's eyes widen in shocked with his sudden action. He broke the kiss and hugged her, his skull buried on her neck.

"Don't say something like that. "He said, as he slightly hugged her tight. (Y/n) gasped in surprise.

"You're not a burden to me. You're not getting in my way... You're... Perfect.. " Sans released the hug, his white pinpricks met with her glassy (e/c) eyes.

"I love you. "He confessed. (Y/n) was taken aback with his confession. At first, she thought that he only say that out of pity, but, she can listen on how genuine his words was. His white pinpricks showed honesty and pure love.

'You're not a burden. ' The Echo Flower repeated back on Sans sentence. Soon, the other Echo Flowers repeated back Sans' words.

'You're not getting in my way. '

'You're perfect. '

'I love you. '

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she listen all of the encouraging and loving words. She hugged him and cried on his chest in happiness. Sans hugged her back as he petted her head with his happy grin.

I promise that i will protect you from this cruel world.
