Survivors

chapter 3

After we ate, we started to walk around the farm.

With my katana of course.

Renae was out by the barn trying to get in.

"Renae!" I yelled just as she got the doors open.

"Oh shit!" Chandler yelled and started running.

"Renae! Run!" I screamed and started charging at her.

"Daryl! Daryl!" I screamed.

He started running out towards the barn.

About 30 walkers came out of the barn behind Renae.

Shots were fired as well as arrows out of Daryl's crossbow.

Renae started running towards us and quickly fell behind me. She was balling on the ground as I cut off multiple walkers heads.

Everyone ran out of the house and started shooting.

Renae was still on the ground crying while Samantha ran out and hugged her.

"No Sam get back in the house!" Chandler yelled.

"Bu-" "No! House! Now!" Chandler cut her off.

The last walker came out and I quickly sliced its head off.

"What.the.hell." My dad muttered.

Chloe ran towards me and grabbed my leg. (She was short for her age)

I stood there, not believing what just happened. Walkers were on this property.

"C'mon, let's go back inside," Chandler said to chloe.

I stood there, frozen. I never saw so much blood in front of me.

"Bella, Bella," Chandler said and shook my arm.

"W-what." I stuttered.

"Let's go."

I slid my sword into the case on my back and picked Chloe up.

We walked back to the house and put Chloe in her bed.

Rick and my dad helped Renae into the house. She was still pretty shaken up. They lied her on the couch in the living room.

I cleaned off my sword and put back on my dresser.

"Bella!" Renae yelled from downstairs.

She was sitting up drinking tea with a blanket over her legs.

"Remember when we were running out of the school?" She asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"I couldn't find Irene,"

Irene was Renae's older sister.

"I know, you said your whole family was dead."

"Yeah but she was at school, she could've survived, but I didn't look for her."

"It's okay." I said and hugged her.

She just stared at her cup.

"What is it?"

"I-I don't miss her..."

I sat there and thought about it.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Never mind." She got up and went to her room and locked the door.

I walked back into my room and sat down next to Chandler who was asleep. I fell asleep next to him.

*next day*

I woke up on top on a shirtless Chandler wrapped in blankets. I rolled off of him and grabbed his hand in mine.

He smiled and opened his eyes. Then he pulled me back on top of him and started rubbing little circles into my back.

"Did I ever tell you how damn perfect you are?" He said and kissed my cheek.

"I love you" I said.

"Bella! Bella!" Chloe yelled happily and jumped on us.

"Ew what are you doing?" Sam said from the door way.

I rolled off him and sat up.

"What is it?" I asked tucking hair behind my ear.

"Come look!" She exclaimed and grabbed my hand.

She took outside with Chandler following close behind.

Chloe pointed out a tulip growing by a large oak tree.

"Wow. Pretty." I smiled.

We walked back to the house and made lunch.

We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with grape juice.

"Hey I thought you might want to go hunting." Daryl walked in and said.

"Yeah!" I said and ran up stairs to change.

Chandler followed.

I out on a grey shirt with a black leather jacket, black jeans, and combat boots and threw my hair up into a ponytail.

"I'll be right back." I said and kissed Chloe and Chandler.

"Wait I wanna come!" Chloe cheered and tugged on Daryl's jeans.

"I guess there's no harm in her learning." He said.

"Okay." I smiled.

"I wanna come." Chandler said, Daryl didn't argue.

After we got in to woods, Chloe spotted a deer.

"Wait." I put my hand in front on Daryl's crossbow.

Chloe walked towards the deer right when out of know where a walker came out.

"No!!" I screeched and ran towards her.
