"BELLA! BELLA!" Chloe screamed as the walker came closer.

I stood with my katana at my feet, frozen staring at her screech my name.

I couldn't even tell her to run. I couldn't do anything.

It bit into her neck as she screamed in pain. It kept going until her screams stopped.

There was nothing left.

It came towards me next.

I continued to stare at her skeleton. Her face was still intacted but splattered in blood.

It ripped into my neck, but I still couldn't move, couldn't scream.

"AH!" I screamed as I sat up sweating.

"Bella?!? Are you okay?!" Chandler said and rolled over.

"J-just a b-bad d-dream." I whispered and kept staring at my feet.

It was so real. So horrifying.

She was dead, I had to remember that. I had to remember the world wasn't cut out for children anymore.

Soon Samantha & Claire would die the same way.

*Few Hours Later*

"Hey munchkin." I smiled at Claire.

"Bella!" She smiled and jumped up into a hug.

She took a big part of my depression away. Chandler helped a lot too.

We would have to go on a run very soon.

"You really love her don't you?" Chandler asked Claire one day.

I listened from around the corner.

We were about to leave to go on a run.

"Yeah, she's like a mother to me." She smiled and looked at Beth.

Beth gave her a weak smile.

After all, Beth wasn't with Claire much anymore.

Chandler came and got me so we could leave.

I smiled at him as we walked down the road.

It was really close so we didn't waste gas.

We walked into the small market.

"Damn, people barely touched this place." I said and picked up a sign off the front counter.

'Please take what you need, God bless'

I put it back down and started filling my bag with food.

Cereal, crackers, cans of beans, those little cups of peaches, anything I could grab.

The deli reeked of rotten cheeses and sandwich meat.

But there was a freezer in the back.

The apocalypse only started a week ago and the power went out about six days ago, so I hopped the counter.

I opened the freezer and a walker tackled me.

I screamed and squirmed under it. I couldn't reach my sword.

"Bella!" Chandler screamed and ran to where I was.

He quickly stabbed the walker in the head and it fell next to me.

•Chandler's POV•

Just a run, nothing special.

We needed food, we were starting to get low.
