'Alright this, this is actually going better than expected. Huh. Well. Oh, you're impatient, you just want Thomas and me fluff. I wonder how Thomas would react if he knew about my account and my- 1,2,3,4- 5 fanfics about him... Welp, next chapter. This is the fifth one now. Into the fluff I go'

I nervously tapped my fingers on my leg.

"Uh, Y/n? You okay? " Thomas asked. I looked up at him.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," I replied.

"Are you sure?" he pressed.

"Mhmm," I hummed back. 'Stop lying, just tell him.' I thought.

"Are you completely sure? Because you look nervous and you're tapping the beat to 'Ten Duel Commandments', you do that when you're nervous or worried, " I looked up at him shocked.

"We know each other to well," I laughed.

"True, but, what's up?"

"The sky," I murmured the quick sarcastic remark before taking a deep breath to compose myself.

"Thomas, that was a real nice declaration, I had to I'm sorry, ANYWAY," I said loudly trying to get back on track.

"I- uh," I looked anywhere but him as my hands began to shake and tears started to build up in my eyes.

"Hey, hey, shh," Thomas did, pulling me into a hug, heran good fingers through my hair soothingly.

"You don't have to tell me, I'll wait for you, and when you're comfortable, then you can tell me, or not," he said as I cried softly, clinging onto him, specifically his shirt.

"I-I'm sorry," I whispered inaudibley. I could barely hear myself, even then it wasn't desirable from any of the other small helpless noises I was making.

"Sh, calm down," he said, rocking me a bit, and honestly, I was getting tired. It was just so comforting.

I felt my eyes droop a bit but I kept them open.

After a while I had calmed down and I had shifted so I was just sitting next to him.

We had, of course, started watching Steven Universe.

You know, like you do.

'BOOM. Fluff. Kinda... Whatever. I'll have us start dating later. Currently I'm just not in the mood for happy endings.'
