A Silent Voice AU (Sabezra)

So last night while I was writing a chapter on my other oneshot book on my other Star Wars account (SWRart ) I remembered a movie that I heard of called A Silent Voice. Basicly just watch the trailer, or if you want to go in blind in this chapter don't until the end.
So here we go. Enjoy

Sabine Wren, a 9 year old trouble maker in class B8.
She sat at her desk, talking to her friend Ketzu when the teacher came in.

"Okay everyone, I want you all to sit down, we have a new student" the teacher told the class. Sabine didn't really pay any attention as she wrote on a piece of paper that she was going to pass to Ketzu.

Sabine tossed the paper to Ketzue who read it.
"New kid? Another one. That means either another friend or another pushover" the note read. Ketzu write something down and passed the paper back to Sabine.

"Yeah. I bet it will be another push over like the last few have been :)" the note read.

As Sabine was writing down the response, a new kid came into the room. Sabine looked up to see the new kid. It was a boy with navey coloured hair and blue eyes. He stood in front of the class with a nervous expretion.

"Class this is are new student. I want you all to be nice and help him around, okay. I don't want any of you being nasty at all, got it." the teacher asked the class. They all nodded and said okay.

"Oh and there is one more other thing" the teacher told them. He tapped the new student shoulder and the kid jumped a bit. He looked at the teacher and the teacher pointed to the bored.

Sabine was confused a bit and decided to watch to see what happens. The new student took a whiteboard marker and wrote something on the board.
When he moved away to reveal what he had written, Sabine was surprised.

On the board wrote:
"I can't hear"

At that Sabine was surprised. "He can't hear?" Sabine thought to herself.

"As you can read here, are new student can't hear very well. They aren't totally deft, but nearly is" the teacher told the class.

Everyone nodded as the teacher showed the boy to his new desk, which was right in front of Sabine's desk.

The class went on as normal, the teacher thought the class about things, in this class it was English.
As soon as the bell rang and it was lunch time, most of the class went to get lunch while some stayed in the classroom to speak to one another.

Sabine and Ketzu were speaking at Ketzu's desk, when they noticed two of their classmates, Jai and Zare speaking to the new kid.

"So what's your name?" Jai asked. "Dude he can't hear you. Why not write your question down and see if he understands then" Zare told his friend.

"Em Sabine, do you have any paper and a pen I can use?" Jai asked the girl. "Sure here" Sabine replied as she walked to her desk and pulled a pice of paper out of one of her coppies and took a pen out of her bag.

She handed the boy the item's, which he took and wrote the question on the paper and handed it to the the new student.

The deft boy looked at the paper before writing something down and giving it back.
Zare took the paper and read it.

"My name is Ezra Bridger, what's yours?" Was written.
"He says his name is Ezra. He asked what are names are" Zare told the group as they each wrote their names down and handed the paper back.

The boy, now known as Ezra smiled at them and then wrote something eles down.

"Cool names" he wrote.

Sabine then seen something. She noticed that the boy had a hearing aid, and Sabine being curious, wrote down a question.

"What's the hearing aid for?"

At first, Ezra didn't write down any thing and just covered his hearing aid, feeling a bit selfconsious.

He then wrote down the awnser.
"Its to help me hear things, but it doesn't really help that much to be honest" he wrote back.
"Then what the point of having it" Sabine asked as the other's read the reply.

"Sabine he just told us, it's to help him hear thing's" Ketzu told her. "Ugh whatever" Sabine replied as she crossed her arm's.

To Sabine, the kid was wired. Why would someone like him go to school anyways.
Soon the bell rang. "Oh look, the bell rang, back to class" Sabine told them. Sabine then took the pices of paper and crumbled it up and through it into the bin, while Ezra was writing on it.

Over the next few week, Sabine teased Ezra alot. She would sneak up behind him and scare him, trip him over in the hallways, and test his hearing. For exsample, a few days ago, in the mindle Sabine yelled for no reason, scaring everyone exsept Ezra who didn't hear her. When he didn't hear, she hit him over the head with one of her coppies to get his attention.

Let's just say, she bullied him alot.

One day, Sabine was waiting for her mother to pick her up for she was late. Sabine stood at the school entrance under a shelter from the rain that was pouring down heavily.

As she did, she herd the door open from behind her. Sabine turned around only to see Ezra. "His parents must be late to" Sabine thought to herself.
As she waited, Ezra stood next to her.

Sabine never really liked the kid. She thought that he was a wired freak. She then felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked to see it was Ezra.
"What do you want" Sabine asked annouyed.

For a momont, the boy did nothing. But he then pointed at himself, then at Sabine and then put his hands together. "Fr-nd" he tried to speak.

Sabine was surprised. "Is he trying to communicate?" Sabine thought.
Ezra did the same thing, hoping that the girl would understand what he was trying to say.

For some reason, Sabine got annoyed at him, for no reason. "I don't care what you have to say" Sabine told him as she pushed him.

He tumbled back and fell into a mucky puddle.
He looked up to Sabine with saddness and confution but seen her already walking away.
