I needed to get this off my chest, and Ashton was still pissed at me over something stupid. I sighed getting some shoes on, and opened the window.
"Sarah just listen to me for a minute!" , Ash yelled as I walked past him.
"Why? it's always about how I shouldn't do this or I'm too young to do this."
"I'm just trying to protect you."
"Protect me from what?! The monster in the closet? Or worse Bigfoot?"
"No. Well maybe when you were 5. but not this..."
"What Ash?"
"You won't understand. You're too...."
"Young, right?"
"Sarah, it's just I don't want you to be hurt by this."
"whatever Ash."
I walked up the driveway to Michael's house, and saw his bedroom window was on still; I got close enough when I threw a rock at his window, hoping he'd notice it. when he didn't come to the window, I threw like 4 or 5 when that got his attention.
"Sarah, what the hell?"
"I needed to talk to you about something."
"Again, this is the 4th time this week. And won't Ash get concerned?"
"I know, but it's really important."
"Fine, but it's like 12:30 so I'm not making coffee."
I smiled and waited by the front door for Michael, and we headed inside and sat on the couch. He eventually made some coffee since I wouldn't stop asking him.
"Here. Now what's going on?"
"Okay, so Ashton and I were fighting again."
"Really, again?"
"Yhea, so anyway. He started saying stuff like I did all of this for you, and how I'm too young to understand what he means. And he doesn't realize I'm 15 years old and I don't need him to fucking protect me from every little thing in life."
"I understand. But you have to understand he's trying his best to be there for all 3 of you guys."
"Who's side are you on Michael???"
"I'm not on anyone's side, Sarah I'm just saying."
"It's just, I'm sick of him treating me like I'm 5."
"I know, I'll talk to him tomorrow. And I won't say anything about this."
