Their eyes couldn't avert, they stared at one another like two lovebirds or newly weds.

The first to look away was Nina. She had to make things quick. She didn't want to suffer any longer.

"Let's stop talking to each other..." She said with all the strength she could muster into those words.

The boy's eyes widened and his blood ran cold. His heart stopped for a brief moment.

"That's what you wanted to tell me? Our first meeting and that's what you wanted to tell me?"  He muttered, fuming with mixed emotions.

"Well, you wanted our first meeting to be for a dating plan!" She retorted, defending herself.

Tyrone was slightly taken aback, though he couldn't stop the argument. "And? What's so wrong with that!"

"Nothing!" She stuttered, her gaze wavering.

"It sure is something, because if it were nothing you would've met me and helped me instead of running away and avoiding me!"

Her eyes were glistening with fresh tears, threatening to role down her heated face.

"You're so dense and stupid, you know that?" She yelled, her hands curling into fists. Her heart was beating rapidly, but it hurt her, like a hit to the chest.

"What did I do?" He defended, frowning and glaring at her.

"Y-you..." She didn't want to, but she did. Nina's voice broke as she let out an involuntary sob.

At the sound of this, Tyrone's eyes softened and his frown disappeared. He abruptly pulled her shaking figure into his, embracing her.

"I'm sorry... I should've asked what was wrong instead of getting mad..." he mumbled against her hair, rubbing her back.

Nina shook her head.

"It's fine... after all, I'm just a wrong line girl."
