His warm, protecting arms embraced her trembling body. Salty tears rolled down her cheeks silently as she stared at the floor. Accompanying her droplets of tears, rain started to pour upon the ground along with clashing thunder.
Nina let out a shaky breath, placing her small palm over his interlocked hands over her stomach. She couldn't contain the smile that stretched over her lips.
Besides the darkness the night held, there was light in their hearts.
"You are a stupid Prince Charming though," she mumbled, letting out a hoarse chuckle from her lips.
Tyrone was confused and he twisted her in his arms, holding her close to him as their bodies pressed against one another's. He embraced her cold body in his warm one, caressing her cold and wet cheeks. His eyes boring into hers.
"And why's that?" He hummed, leaning his face close to hers.
Nina's blood rushed to the top of her head at their proximity, their noses inches apart.
"B-because you are," she stuttered shyly.
Tyrone laughed, his chest slightly trembling against hers. Nina felt happy at the sound of his genuine laugh, it was soothing and slightly deep. After laughing, Tyrone continued to stare into her eyes, grinning uncontrollably.
"I'm not sorry for this, Nina," he whispered against her lips gently before pressing them against her cold ones.
Nina didn't hesitate on returning the kiss, wrapping her arms around him and tilting her head.
Their five-second kiss seemed like an hour. They breathlessly pulled away and both blushed like flustered kids.
Tyrone rubbed the back of his neck while holding his hand behind the small of her back. Nina laughed softly, staring at him.
"You're not a bad kisser," he mumbled sheepishly.
"Shut up, stupid."
