Hay, guys. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been reading this. It is extremely fun to do. Don't worry, there will be no abandoning or pausing...i suppose...This story. I am going to continue, hopefully another update will be completed by Saturday or Sunday. This next chapter is going to be longer than normal, because I am going to go into detail about both Tom, and Severus, and Draco's inheritence. but, first there are a few things I want to clear up.

Someone asked me why Tom is going by his actual name instead of an alias. I wanted to use Tom Marvolo Riddle, because 1) It makes it harder for there to be a 'slip up'. Tom is not used to being called anything other than his birth name, or Lord Voldermort, or My Lord. Obviously none of these would work. And if he used an alias, he would have to get used to be addressed by said name, and there is only a few days until they leave for Hogwarts. He would not have had the time. There is also the fact that Draco has been calling Tom "Tom" for at least a month, meaning that he is used to it, and he would probably slip up when they believe themselves to be alone or something similar. This eliminates that danger. 2) Tom Riddle is a generation name. And while Voldermort may not like his name, he does have a thing about Pureblood and history and ancestory, so if he were to have a Son, I believe it would be likely that he may use one of his names, or one of those of his forefathers in naming his son, and by this, it eliminates that problem. 3) He is trying to worm his way into the ranks. If he were to obliterate "Voldermort" Or the previous "Tom Riddle" He could recreate himself in this 'New World' and it would start by using his birth name, and nobody would question it. Eventually he plans to obliterate the old Tom Marvolo Riddle from the history books.

Now, a few things. I know that when a Wizard gets his "inheritence" it means the lands, the funds, the money, and other things like that. But that is not how I am doing it. I have read a fair amount of Fanfictions where the characters come into a "Creature Inheritence" Which is sort of what I plan on doing here.

Another thing, Tom and Draco WILL eventually get together. I am quite certain that is obvious, from not only the tags on the story itself, but also the two's interactions. Yes, they will get together, No, it isn't going to be the perfect relationship. The two have some problems, and they are going to have to work them out. So, they will get together, eventually, and live to their happily ever after. But not for a while.

Also, Tom is a cold individual, with little to no feeling, and no care for others. Now, Tom is NOT going to continue acting all lovey dovey. He will ONLY act that way towards Draco Malfoy, and anyone else he is his usual cruel self. It is kind of like those fanfics where the main character is a brute and then their "Soul Mate" or "One True Love" comes along and turns them around, only, Tom's true love is Draco, and they most certainly don't just fall in love. It happens gradually. and Tom is still uncertain about his feelings towards Draco. He doesn't know how to handle them, because he's never felt them before. So, basically, he is a cruel evil person to everyone but Draco, except that Draco is the only one who can reign in his malice.

Now, about the whole "Creature Inheritence". First. Submissive: I am talking about a desire to please, and the feeling that they should, or have to follow and Alphas orders. Draco, in any other way, is more like a Beta, or Alpha, but his base needs are different, as will be shown with his interactions with Blaise, Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle, as well as, obviously, Tom Riddle. But outside of Slytherin, when they are around others, Draco is the Leader, and will stay that way. And before you ask, No. Draco isn't someone who is easily cowed. If an intimidating person, say, McGonagall, gives him an order, he isn't going to feel the complusion to obey it, and can disobey perfectly fine. He ONLY feels the desire to obey and please an Alpha. And No. Not everyone at Hogwarts are Alpha or otherwise. Tom and Severus are the only ones, and Draco is the only submissive, maybe another if I feel like it.
Tom Alpha. Tom is an Alpha, which means he can order Draco around, but he has to use his "Alpha Voice" (I am sure you have all read or at least heard of this, I mean Teen Wolf! And it is also in a bunch of other fics) If he needs Draco to obey, which would be his 'Cold cruel voice, dangerous eyes' which he has been using up until this point when he orders Draco around. Another thing, his Alpha Voice CAN Be disobeyed, but it takes a lot out of Draco, and Draco already feels the need to please Tom, as hinted at several chapters beforehand. Also, it has to be phrased as a Command, and be extremely specific, otherwise Draco can skirt the order. If Tom uses said "Alpha Voice" but phrases his command as a Suggestion, Draco does not feel the same pull to obey. If Tom uses anything other than his Alpha voice to give commands, they can be ignored easily.
Severus Alpha. Severus is also an Alpha. I am quite certain most of us will agree that it works for him (At least if you've read that line in the first book of Harry Potter where it says that Snape has this ability to speak quietly and still command attention, and everyone is terrified to disobey him, and nobody dares cross him). Also, Severus is the only one who knows of Draco's Inheritence, but that is only because he is an Alpha, and has an established bond with Draco, a positive bond. Lucius does not know, nor does he suspect. Severus also has an "Alpha Voice" Which is different than Toms, a lot different. His is 'Quiet, but filled with danger, soft, but filled with icy warning.' As before, Severus MUST use his Alpha Voice and phrase his command correctly if he wishes to force Draco into obedience. And even then, it can be ignored, but the pull will be strong, depending on the bond between Alpha and Submissive, and let me just write it to you, they have an incredibly strong bond.

Okay, I think that is all, if you have any more questions do not hesitate to comment on the story and ask, I will always answer, or message me, or whatever. PLEASE review. It is refreshing to see how you like the story, your comments and questions, or perhaps your ideas are helpful and inspiring.
