Moana tells her people about what she can do to restore the heart . Chief believes that there is no heart . She finds her grandmother's cane lying on the ground . A man takes Moana and Tui to where Tala is . When they arrive Tala looks close to death . Tala I'd whispers to Moana " Go . " Moana doesn't believes she can go and Tala tells her she must go because the ocean choose her . " Find the fish hook . When you find Maui you grab him by the ear and say , " I am Moana of Motunui , and you will bored my boat , sail across the sea , and restore the heart of Te Fiti ! " , said Tala . Moana still isn't confident , Tala says , " There is no where you can go that I won't be with you. " Moana starts to cry and she leaves while her grandma is dying to start packing for this journey . Sina is confident in Moana to go beyond the reef . When Moana first starts to head towards the reef she sees her grandmother . ( She came back as a sting ray just as she said . ) Moana continues to go towards the reef .
