Caine's .P.O.V
It's been four years now since I was shipped off to Mount Sita. I settled in fine. My foster Dad, Jeff, is super nice. We often go on runs through the forest behind our house together and just really enjoy my freedom. He can be very strict. Especially when it comes to my safety. But overall he was pretty cool.
I also made a few friends when I first arrived. There is Nick, Cassie, Melanie, Cameron and Jono. They were all really amazing when I first started Mount Sita high school. They took me around the 'hot' spots of the town. Included me in all things they were doing and even let me have their food. Nah the last ones a joke but you get my point.
On the first day of my second week, I started going to track practices and made it on the team. I figured if I was going to fit in i should at least join some sports. Plus it keeps my health and fitness up so that's a bonus. With my werewolf speed, not that I really needed it, I managed to become the best on the team and take us to Nationals three years in a row.
I wasn't popular by all means but I wasn't considered a loser too. I was average. I had friends, but I wasn't widely known at school.
No one has found out about me being a werewolf and I plan on keeping it that way. If that got out I don't know what I would do.
The track finals are being held at our school tomorrow. We are facing our enemy school. I'm super stoked. I haven't seen anyone from there before since I rarely go out anyway but it should be fun .I don't get what everyone goes on about with the opposing school. It's like we're in world war 3 with them when really I could care less. As long as I have some competition from them I'm fine. This is the first time in 7 years they have entered their track team which is interesting indeed. It's just going to be our two schools competing this year for some reason.
I still haven't found my mate yet but I know they are still alive so that’s good. My powers have progressed and I've been doing research on the Black Wolf. Apparently there is only a Black wolf every 400 years now due to a curse or gift a powerful which put on the Black wolfs. There used to be hundreds of them that made up a very powerful pack. The Black night Pack. Fitting name right? All the other supernatural creatures were envious of them and wanted the power to themselves. They thought that by killing them all they would get the power. Boys were they wrong. It did not only kill the Black Wolfs but also the ones that killed them. A very powerful witch took pity on the pack so she produced a spell which guaranteed every 400 years a Black wolf would be born with incredible power.
Werewolf's eventually got over their jealousy with the Black wolf power and just sought them to mate and produce powerful heir. But an even more surprising thing is that I'm the first male Black Wolf to be born since the Black night Pack. Wahoo for me. Right? Wrong. That just gives men a reason to kill me. If they want to kill me.
My powers started coming in around half a year ago. It started as small doses. Apparently I'm an elemental. I started mini fires, small floods, mini earthquakes etc. I've learned to control it now. It has progressed so much which I'm happy about. It's not too long until I reach 19 which is the age my powerful scent comes in. I've already had my mate scent released on my 18th birthday and to not find my mate then was depressing. I don't know if it will be a girl or guy.
Honestly I hope it will be a guy because if you haven't figured out already I'm gay.
