"So I was thinking, maybe I can come on tour with you," I smile sweetly at my best friend.

"No," he smirks and turns around, slamming the car door in my face.

My face instantly drops as I open the door and run up to him. "And why not?" I demand.

"Because I don't want scandales about you with the members," he softly smiles at me.

"Mark, come on, everyone knows we're best friends. If there were a scandal going on it would most likely be going on with you and me, and no offense, but you're not my type," I say while opening the door for the both of us into the building.

"It's bad enough you're allowed to be here. This is my work, you don't get to have your best friends at work," he tells me.

"Yeah, um, hey Mark, I don't know what planet you came from, but yes you can," I sarcastically answer back.

"No means no, Lia," he stops walking and turns to me. "I just don't want you getting hurt from me or my friends."

"Fine, but here don't forget your coffee," I say before handing him his cup and saying goodbye.

I start to exit the company he works at and head for a taxi to make my way to work. The whole ride to the hospital was depressing. I was upset that Mark wouldn't let me go to spend more time with him and if that wasn't bad enough, the taxi driver looked like he was crying as he was playing some sad song I didn't even know of.

I finally arrive at the hospital and sigh looking at the big letters stretched upon the building. I walk in and get instantly greeted by co-workers. Immediately, I smile back and greet them back. I finally reach the pharmacy and walk into the back room. I take off my coat and put on my lab coat and make my way to the front of the store. Before getting a chance to sit down, I'm greeted by a familiar face.

     "Emilia, how are you?"

"Doctor Im, I'm good, how are you?" I smile widely at the older man I've known for many years, and the man whom got me this job.

"Likewise," he smiles back. "I hope my son is not a trouble to you anymore."

"He'll always be the same," I slowly say as I lose my smile towards the man.

"I'm sorry, my dear," he sadly replies. "Well, we have a busy day ahead, let's get to work."

I nod my head and instantly go to the back to check if all the medications are in the right place and bags.

After finishing things around the store, it was around eight o'clock. I sigh and run a hand through my hair while yawning. It was a pretty busy day, refilling and checking medications for people. However, it was pretty amusing when Doctor Im got into a fight with an older lady. I smile remembering the memory. I take off my coat and hang it in my locker while also grabbing my other coat. I say a good-bye to Doctor Im and finally make my way to JYP Entertainment. Thankful that the company was close by, I decided to take a walk. Me, being out of shape, took me a total of 30 minutes to get there. I mentally noted to just keep to taking taxi's.

By the time I arrive, I see Mark walking out with a few of his friends. I jog up to them slowly while I start waving my hand to greet them all. "Hey guys!" I smile at them, not taking notice to the one in the back.

"Lia, I thought you were home? I was just about to come up," Mark replies, surprised at my appearance.

"Yeah me too," Jackson smirks towards my direction.

"Oh shut up," I frown at him, but soon start chuckling. "I was going to go straight home, but I knew you were leaving early today, so I decided to stop by."

"You should have just went straight home." He mumbled.

His voice sent shivers down my spine as my blood started to boil. "If you have something to say, speak up, or don't at all," I snap back.

"I said go home," he says as he rolls his eyes at me.

"You're so fucking rude!"

"Okay! Relax Lia, it's okay," Mark says while grabbing my arm and dragging me away from the group.

"I'm sorry, he's just so mean to me and I don't know why," I confess.

"Well, you kinda-" he starts.

"Don't you dare finish that. We both know it was not my fault and I had nothing to do with that," I declare, a little bit saddened that my best friend would bring that up again.

"Let's just go home," he states.

"Yeah, whatever." I mumble.

He signals to his friends and waves good-bye as I stand near the side walk, ready to start walking home. He finally turns around and we start to walk. Majority of the walk we walked in silence, until we were close by home when he decided to speak up.

"Emilia," he calls, using my first name. "You should give him a break."

I stop immediately and turn around to face him. "Me? I'm not the one who started it," I stubbornly say, angered that he was on his side and not mine.

"Emilia, come on, seriously," he pauses.

"He lost his girlfriend because of you," he finally admitted, those words I never wanted to hear.

I pause, releasing air from my mouth as I whisper, "fuck you." And continue to walk back home as Mark stays behind, near the stairs to our homes, not daring to follow behind me.
