Samuel and the South Island Calamity [ W I P ]

Melatonin

The walls are crumbling and so is the ground I step on, I focus my eyes on the nearest exit as I dash with the sense of rage. Theres pipes twisting and bending, puncturing the walls with multiple sharp "thduk" noises as I sprint by. I can barely breathe, I grasp onto whats left of me and keep running, the walls slowly closing in, breaking more and more each step I move. I was closer to the exit, the lights flickering and giving a sense of eerie-ness. I was so close to the exit I almost felt it.

I hear a familiar voice call my name... "Sammy... Sammy..." ..I can hear it, closer and closer... "Sammy?... Sammy?..." I stop the sprinting, almost tripping over a wire, and suddenly...

Everything stops. I can feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins, still confused on whats happening and whats calling my name.  I see a spark within the air, the spark glistens with pure light, I reach, but cant reach far enough to grab it... I try harder, and harder. With each try I keep pushing myself more and more to the limit. I started to feel my legs ache and my muscles begin to sore, but I reach, and reach more and more until I get to that light... I use every last drop of energy to reach out. 

I was able to be engulfed by the bright, beautiful light. I felt as if I was ascending to a greater world, the name kept calling me out. "Sammy, Sammy..." The light was making me feel dizzy and floaty. "Sammy, Sammy, please wake up..." I felt a sudden pulse between my brain and my thoughts, almost as if I lost cable on a tv. My mind went blank, and I closed my eyes.

I can finally see the light.
