This marks the last day of my innocent life.
My Mom and I don't use cars some days. instead of using cars those days, we take small walks to the area we are going. She says its to 'Get your brain and muscles working' but I don't see any point to these walks. Only until today.
The bright colorful locks of jade on the stalks of the trees sway in the air, brisk chills run down my spine as we walk to Mom's work. Beautiful wisps of murky yellow with small green stalks, both breathing and dancing through the winds. The sun with its golden rays beam down onto the pavement as we walk through the meadows.
Maybe, just maybe, today just be the first day of good weather in weeks.
The walk was slow, and steady. It felt as if I had slowed down the entire earth, it felt as if I was a god, and had the power to bend time itself.
It had felt amazing.
In the corner of my eye, I spot a little silver tingle in my eye, it ruined the feel, but had got me curious on what it was, "Hey Mom, could we observe these flowers for a bit? they look pretty!" I asked, "Take your time." I reach for the tip top of the tree, it wasn't too high, but good enough for my height.
Gotcha!
I had gotten what seemed like a ticket, it also said
"South Island"
Printed in pretty gold letters. The moment I read those words, a abrupt shiver ran down my very spine.
Departing at 9 PM
That was tonight.
