Chapter 1
_______________

I walked alone in the dark quiet streets, depressed with my high heels echoing behind me. My blind date left me for good once again.

I'm tired of this problem repeating itself every time I try to at least get someone to love in my life.

With the sky getting gloomy and the clouds beginning to cover the moon, drops of water land on my clothes.

Dammit. My night was getting worse. Especially how I bought this perfect short, beautiful white dress a few days ago, hoping it could bring me some luck for this day.

I guess I was wrong.

I run under a nearby store with a roof and attempt to call someone to pick me up. "I'm so stupid," I mumble to myself and hit my head, remembering that I stupidly agreed to Fiona dropping me off since the direction was the same way to her house.

I call her repeatedly but the phone only rings until the last ring leads to the voicemail.

I put my back against the wall and slid down with my eyes closed to calm myself.

Sitting there listening to the sound of the rain hitting against the pavement with a sudden ruffling noise beside me. I stood up as goosebumps rushed above my skin. My feet takes the opposite direction of the noise, heading back to the way of restaurant.

"There she is!" A man shouts, pointing his finger at me and chasing me afterwards. With the streetlights that flicker with barely any power, all I could see is men who seem to look like they were going to rob a jewelry store.

I'm not running, nor am I walking. My legs are at a fast walking pace, but does it stop the footsteps from following me behind? No.

I was frightened, struggling to take the words out of my stuttering voice. "Fire!" I say, but no one hears me in the isolated streets

Someone tugs back my hair and puts a cloth over my nose to my mouth. The scene of a dark street with pouring rain from the side fade to pitch black and silence.

I could've done something but I didn't.

So here I was in small empty room sitting on the floor chained to the wall.

What the hell?

My body was sore and numbed from the pain shooting inside my body. I look down at my white but with marks of scratches or dirt and rips below the rim.

My eyes wander around the room, observing what surrounds me. There was a tinted glass window by the door, the ones you would see in those crime or detective shows. Besides the tinted window, there wasn't anything else.

I avert my eyes to the door with voices of men echoing behind. My heart begins to beat at a faster rate, afraid of who would open the door and walk in.

"Where is she?" A man questions with an angry tone in his voice.

"She's in here," Another man responds.

The door opens wide open with three men who walk in, armed with weapons by their sides. By the voices, I could recognize who was talking from outside the room.
