I sighed. Meeting were boring as ever. I looked at my phone, 10:34 pm. I scrolled through instagram, bored as hell.

I'd much rather be rapping or producing music right now. All these talented people, currently working right now, are amazing.

I wish I could be like them.

A smack landed on my phone.

" Kim Namjoon! How could you be on your phone right now, introduce yourself to your future, maybe fiance!" My dad whisper-yelled. I sighed.

" Hello. My name is Kim Namjoon, you?" I said.
" My name is Kwon Jinah." Jinah said. " If it's not rude, how old are you?"
" I'm currently 19" I said. " Born in 1994."
" Ah, we're the same age. I'm 18, but, born in 1994. If you want to, do you mind being informal?" Jinah asked.
" Sure." I said.

" So, what do you do for a interest?" Jinah said.

" I like listening and making music." I whispered.
" wait, could you repeat that?" Jinah asked.
" I like making and listening to music." I said. " I sometimes wish it could be my job."
She smiled. " I like making mus-"

A glass shattered. All eyes were on me.

" I'm sorry, what did you say?" My dad, gritted through his teeth. I stood wide eyed.

" F-father!" I said.
" Excuse us for a second." My dad said. " Kim Namjoon, outside. Now."

I stepped outside the top floor of the restaurant.

Slap.

A red mark had just been planted on my face. I was in shock.

" W-what in the world, fathe-!" I said.
" Kim Namjoon, do not father me! I told you to cut out that music nonsense out of your head!" He yelled.
" F-father, you have me wrong!" I said. " I was trying to make a light-hearted joke, I did't mean any harm!"
A punch came in.

" Well, if you haven't noticed. You shouldn't have even brought up that music shit to Jinah! You are a smart man, make some better choices! Music is only for people who are dumb, and are broken! They're poor as dirt! Such dirty creatures! I told you if you ever brought up that music nonsense to anyone, you would've been punish-!"

I heard all of that come in towards me. Suddenly I spoke up.

" Beethoven was a man who had lost his hearing, yet made wonderful pieces of music! So is Stevie Wonder! He could play the piano just as well, and won several awards! Music is enjoyed by everyone, and it isn't just for dumb people!" I argued.

" They're crippled, useless people who just got lucky." He spoke. At that point, I couldn't handle it anymore.

" Father, they are no more people just like you! How could you just regard people according to their ability to be normal humans? They are normal humans! You treat them like you had just seen a monster! In fact, no. You are the monster!" I yelled.

A punch came in.

" Sit down, now. We will discuss this later, at home." He said. " Get back now, and I do not ever want to hear or see your music crap, and if I do. Trust me, it will not be good."

I went back into the room, sat back down.

" So sorry to interrupt our conversation. I apologize on our place." My dad said, smiling. " Now, back to our conversation."

I sighed. " I'm sorry to. It was stupid to mention that as well."

" I like music too, don't worry. I would totally produce music. I secretly do it, even though my parents forbid me." Jinah said. " I wish I could step up like you, to tell my parents." I smiled.

The food came. Everyone ate, but I couldn't stop thinking about what he had said.

How could he?

And why does he think that way?

Why couldn't I do it?

It angered me, being limited to what I could do.

I didn't just want to live a boring life, like my parents did. I didn't want to run KSE.co

Heck, I sometimes don't even want to be rich. I hated being told ' Oh sweetie! Don't touch that, that's dirty!' or ' Namjoon, you can't go near her! She's so annoying!'

It was a boring life being rich. I already experienced luxuries other people haven't had.

But, I've never experienced 2 things normal people have.

Freedom, and true happiness.

I looked at the fancy decor. Next to me, there was a paper swa-

Wait a second. That wasn't there before. And all the decorations in the restaurant were made out of cutlery. When no one was looking, I opened the swan.

" Life can get better, make a wish."

I looked around.

" what does that mean, make a wish?"  I hissed.

Another note appeared, on my lap.

" To the stars."

" And how can I wish to the stars when I'm inside?!" I whispered.

Another one got chucked onto my head.

" You have a IQ of 148, do you not know common sense? Go outside and wish."

I sighed.

" Excuse me, I have to use the bathroom." I said, and left.

The night air filled the breezy night. The midnight skies slowly moved, making hazes of different shades of dark blue.

" Well? Wish."

" Okay, can you tell me where these notes are coming from? Who even are you?" I bursted.

" Thank you, and I like keeping myself a secret."

" Are you even a perso-"

"  can you just make a wish already?"

I sighed.

What I really wanted was a interesting life.

" I want an interesting life, outside of the rich's walls. I want to be able to enjoy music, and be able to have freedom and true happiness."  I wished.

The air still remained the same, the breeze still blew.

I sighed.

" Well, this was a joke." I said.
